I didn't go to sleep last night until around 4 am, and was up at 8, then back to bed from 9-10, due to my sick kids and doctors visits. Not a good recipe for dreams. I'll get a nap later for sure when my hubby gets home. Here's the only dreams I had last night.
Dream One: I am on Facebook, looking at a post that I was tagged in. It's my old Drama teacher showing a constellation that makes a star shape, and asking if we can spot this miraculous new constellation in the sky. (my husband and I are part of the local astronomy club, we <3 the night sky, lol) I go outside to take a picture of it, but find that my cell phone won't pick up the tiny points of light that are stars. I go back inside to get my digital camera that I hate fooling with but actually takes pictures twice as good as the phone, not great, but better than phone quality! When I get back outside, my deck has turned into a hotel patio and I'm looking out over the sea at the star constellation. I go to take a picture, but notice the sun is rising fast! I start trying to get some pictures, and hope that at least one of them looks good! Then I realize the moon is HUGE in the sky. It takes up at least a sixth of the horizon. Like, if the moon normally looks the size of a dime or a quarter in the sky, now it looked like the size of a mason jar opening! Absolutely enormous and so beautiful. I start taking pictures, there's an island not far out to sea, and a sail boat in front of the moon that is setting right beside the sun that is rising. It's a wonderful scene, the sky all pinkish and purpleish and orangish and the moon and the sun both HUGE and right next to one another, one rising and one setting, all over a lake! My husband seems me trying to take pictures and decide he and my son need to step in front of the camera. I get mad and delete the pictures because they're making silly poses that take away from the dramatic scene behind them. Then before I can take any more pictures, the moon and constellation are gone and all that's left is the sun. I regret deleting those pictures, because I'll never have proof now how big the moon was and I'm afraid I won't remember it clearly for long. I start taking pictures of the rest of the scenery around me, because it's all so beautiful. I then go inside the house that has turned into a hotel, and start taking pictures from my hotel room with my camera and sending them to my best friend A. She tells me she's jealous, but then sends me a picture of an equally pretty view and it's supposed to be from her house. I think she's way luckier to have such a pretty view all the time, I could only wish to have such a pretty view every morning when I woke up! Then I wake up, and see that I can still sleep another half hour, write down really really quick short notes and go right back to sleep.
Dream Two (Fragment): I'm somewhere with a lot of yellow or golden light. There's someone there with me, but I can't remember if they were male or female, or anything. I just know they made me feel very calm and happy. I woke up, but I felt really good, especially considering my usual 10 hours of sleep was cut in half last night.
