    1. High Level Lucidity

by , 01-24-2012 at 07:49 AM (Dream Journal)
This is by far the highest level Lucid Dream I've had to date. It came with the help of some supplements (100mg of 5-htp before bed, and 8mg of Galantamind 5 hours later). I cannot say for sure what kind of LD this is categorized as. It kind of feels like a WILD because it started off in my bedroom, and I was aware that I was dreaming since the very begining beginning. Although I did not feel like I held a constant stream of consciousness into the dream. To me it is a combination of WILD, MILD, and DILD... but who cares, I had a Lucid Dream!
It all happened in my bedroom. I was standing there in the dark and I knew that I was dreaming. I perform several reality checks throughout the dream to reaffirm that I am indeed dreaming. My primary RC is the nose plug, and that always works. a little later on in the dream I perform the finger through palm RC for the first time and that worked as well. I remember attempting to look at my hands but I was kind of scared of seeing something disfigured that I stopped looking.

Back to the dream, I spent a good amount of time wandering around in my bedroom in the dark. I used my hands to feel the details on the walls, and I even came upon a light switch. I did not flick it because this switch controls the electricity to my computer, and I did not want to turn everything off. I remember that I had a hard time seeing. Maybe it was because it was dark, but it felt like my eyes were closed in the dream. Again I had the sensation that if I tried to open my eyes too much, I was in danger of doing so in my physical body.

My monitor was on and it seemed like that was the source of light within my bedroom. After wandering around, I make my way out into the balcony. It is raining and I notice that the whole construction area below me is flooded. Here is where I try to fly into the air. I jump off the ground, but land right back. I do this a couple of times, and one time I even hand flat on my back. This reality check did not work for me this time.

I look into the flooded construction area and even think about jumping off my balcony into it, but a sense of fear prevented me from doing so. I try to move objects in the construction area with my mind, but had no success.

I climb up to the 3rd story and into other people's balcony. I peep through their windows and it appeared that every did not have a bed, and was sleeping on the floor. One of the neighbors looked back at me.

I come back down to my balcony and there appeared two girls. One or both, proceeded to suck my mushroom tip. I took one of them back inside and laid her on my bed. We kiss passionately and I start to go muff diving. Very shortly after, I open my eyes and the dream was over.

    2. Jessica

by , 01-10-2012 at 07:13 PM (Dream Journal)
I am with Jessica and we are at a baseball game looking for our seats, although it felt more like we were walking around inside of Costco. We are holding hands and walking with one another like we once did in waking life. We try to ask for help by showing our ticket to someone who works there, but it was no help. I try to bribe one of the workers to get us good seats by offering him a $20 bill. He is interested, but he could not deliver.

The scenery changes and I am somewhere in the outdoors, like in a clearing in a forest. Jessica is in the scene but away from me. There are also now many more people. We are arranged in a big circle like a carousel, and Jessica is directly across the circle from me with her friend (Ellen?). Though I am facing straight at her, she is in the furthest position from me. Every one in the circle has a rope/branch they are holding on to that reaches into the sky and and appears to converge in the center, but does not seem to be connected to anything. The circle begins to spin and we are lifted airborne by holding onto the branch. This is similar to one of those rides at the carnival that spin around in circles.

As we are spinning, my attention is focused on Jessica, who is directly across the circle from me. Directly next to me are some attractive girls. As we are spinning on this "ride" the girl next to me puts her legs around me and kisses my chest in a flirtatious kind of way. I enjoyed this but I notice that Jessica begins to get upset from seeing this. In this dream, she is still my girlfriend.

I felt the intimacy and protectiveness that I had not experienced in a long time. The dream gave me a sense of nostalgia and made me miss my ex girlfriend.

    3. False Lucidity?

by , 11-30-2011 at 11:05 PM (Dream Journal)
I am not entirely sure if I became lucid in this dream. But even if it wasn't, I feel like this was a huge step forward because I can identify something that caused me to suspect I was dreaming. The first time I had a lucid dream, I could not identify the trigger.

After becoming lucid (or not) the dream did not feel that real, it felt like I was laying down daydreaming with my eyes closed, rather than in a full blown REM period.

looking back to it, I think this may just be a regular dream where I dreamed about being lucid. It was nothing like the first time I became lucid.
I was in Tony's garage and I needed to move my car out. There was another car parked directly behind me (his mom's?), but there was just barely enough room for me to carefully reverse out. As I began to reverse, my feet felt extremely heavy and I could not control the braking and the gas, so the car just slowly reversed without my control. I should have already hit the car behind me, but my car just continued to slowly reverse.

At this point I realized I was dreaming. I became extremely excited and my heart was pounding, but still remembered to do a reality check. Still I had very little control of my body, and the reality checks I did was extremely vague. I plugged my nose and tried to breathe, but I don't actually remember what the result was. Also, this dream did not seem to change in vividness after becoming lucid. It ended rather quickly after this without me being able to do anything else.

    4. Plane Crash

by , 11-24-2011 at 06:37 AM (Dream Journal)
      This dream was particularly vivid
I notice from my bedroom that a plane in the sky is falling & and black smoke. It gets closer and closer to me as it falls, and eventually it goes over my roof where I cannot see it anymore. So I run out to the front porch to continue watching it.

I get a sense of relief that the plane did not crash into me. The plane ends up falling into a body of water far away, but I can still see it from the porch. The crash creates a large impact like a bomb and sends me flying with great force. My body is thrown towards the International University as i shatter the glass when I fly into it. After recovering, I rush back to the apartment to see if my mom is OK.

    5. First Time Lucid

by , 11-24-2011 at 01:41 AM (Dream Journal)
This was my first (and only thus far) lucid dream experience. It came shortly after I learned about lucid dreaming, and at a time when I was most interested and excited about it.
I was walking across a college campus past some girl sitting at one of those desks w/ a draped banner advertising a club.

I suddenly end up in my bathroom, and standing inside the shower facing the shower head.

Something triggers me to question if I am dreaming. I perform a reality check by holding my nose and trying to breathe. I conclude that I am dreaming and my vision suddenly turns from fuzzy to remarkably clear, vivid, and life like. I begin to question again if I am dreaming or in waking life due to the sudden clarity.

I decide to perform another reality check by looking into the foggy mirror. I see a somewhat distorted image of myself, confirming yet again that I am dreaming.

At this point I get too excited and start to wake up. I try touching the tiles in the shower to stay grounded but the lucid dream ends before I can do anything else.

    6. Jen from frmheadtotoe

by , 11-24-2011 at 12:18 AM (Dream Journal)
My first dream that I recorded, and one that made me want to learn about Lucid Dreaming.
Went from house to house putting out fires with Jen from frmheadtotoe. We held hands and were being intimate with one another. Setting changes to a San Francisco type street (Irving street?). We walk past an Asian supermarket like Mitsuwa. I ask “You’ve never been here before?”

We walk into a togo Chinese restaurant and I am looking to buy chicken and shrimp. I ask for 1 lb of each. The clerk tries to suggest that I buy chicken so I can get big. The shrimp that he picked up was huge and resembled more of a lobster.

Everyone in the dream seems to realize that Jen has a boyfriend/husband and that she should not be with me so intimately. We stand close & hold hands as if it may be the last time we see one another.

She leans in and says “we shouldn’t be this close.” “I know.” I respond. Yet she does not move away or break contact.

Upon exiting the restaurant I see her holding out her hand as if to shake hands with other men leaving the restaurant. One man hands her money and I ask her “What the fuck are you doing?”

I see her from only her back crossing the street to get to the other side. Before I can go after her, I notice a guy with a knife/blade preparing to attack me.

I end up chasing him & Jen notices this and she chases the both of us.
