Had gone to Sydney via train with a large group of friends from my new and old school. Our reasoning was that you could get crispy cream donuts there and thus, we had to go. Once there though, we sort of dispersed in an underground mall that was sort of a part of the train station. I found a food court area and got some lunch from some random store rather than simply living off donuts.
Once I was done eating (more vivid here), I went over to a chicken specialty store and leaned on the counter waiting to get one of the store girl's attention. Some joke was made by the further one away to, "Go and serve the little year 7" Which I laughed at since I wasn't even in uniform and I'm in year 11. I pulled up into a full standing position and felt/was really big; both tall and commanding a large presence.
I began with some trivial banter about the joke and why she really thought of me. Then moved on to explain that I didn't actually want to buy anything but I wanted to get an email address to which I could send my resume to apply for a job there because I hadn't thought to bring it with me.
The girl was quite nice and gave me a pen, paper and told me address, twice, because I was too slow the first time. - For the life of me I can't remember what it was... - And S & M walked passed together laughing toward me jokingly making some crack at how intimidating I was being to the poor girl (who was older than me).
As this was all going on, the once small store had changed into a more open and multisided counter where more and more people began to come to place orders. The two store assistants were soon swamped and I left to let them get back to work.
R and a friend of her's had been there creating this massive salad by picking and choosing from a huge variety of ingredients all along the counter.
Moving away I ended up in a quieter section of the mall with C who I followed over to a stand outside a shop.
"Cool! Flash glasses!" C exclaimed and grabbed a pair of quite dark sunglasses. I asked what they were and he replied by making the whole glass plating in them light up electric blue/white, quite blinding to look at from the outside let alone with them on. C explained that they completely blinded you and gave you an artificial high type of thing like wearing beer-vision goggles and the like.
He then stumbled off with the glasses still on into a music store that was dimly lit and had some sort of rave music crankin'. Inside there were a whole lot of people dancing in a corner and these crazy lights where flashing around up that end. I joined in for a bit but didn't really know any of them very well and decided to go somewhere else. As I left the main entrance of the store, M was there acting & dressed quite gay. Another guy came up to him and he tried to jump/hug him but the second guy kind of pushed him away and calmed him down.
I drifted off into the mall shopping area again but didn't end up finding anyone else.
