Mech on a Mission

Lots of fragments from the one dream this morning. Involved my sister and oldest cousin watching TV/anime with me fairly casually. Then there was a zoids style robot attacking our base which was movable, like the hovercargo in the show (Zoids - Zero Century). So we started shooting back with our front mounted cannons but we knew we wouldn't hold out much longer. So Bit Cloud, who was my POV, got into his zoid to go out and fight.
Now normally he pilots a lygar (lion tiger) but in my dream he had a red/blue hightech sports car that was loaded inside a trailer like Naomi's. He/I got in and the floor of the trailer slide out and down so I could gun it out onto the road we were fighting on.
The car was fast, really fast. I easily got ahead to where the raiders were firing at us from and engaged the enemy by transforming the car (transformers style) into a big suit of armor which I piloted.
Now being the Bit Cloud character I was naturally an excellent pilot and quickly got the enemy down to just the leader. We started flying really fast down a huge highway and I got ahead of him. Then slid up the barrier wall like a half pipe and distracted him from the base which got passed us. As we continued fighting a female voice came over my computer system saying something about if the hovercargo got more than 100m away from the enemy I would automatically win. So knowing this I kept the attacking robot from passing me and won what I guess turned into an Armored Core mission.

Before the fight and perhaps before I was watching TV, I remember going out to buy some better parts for my mech. I specifically remember buying a torso upgrade.
