    1. The Day I stopped running and hiding in my dreams ( my last Nightmear)

      by , 10-26-2011 at 01:07 AM
There was an invisible force which has been hunting my dreams since I could remember about 7yrs old, It has taken many forms and had only grown in intensity as I grow up.
My first experience with this dark force. I use to dream that I was playing outside my house as with other children, running and jumping, the usual 7yr old games, then there would be a siren screaming signaling that it was time to get inside, that scared the shit out of me, so I began to run towards my home. Then my legs begin to feel a pull like a magnet, and it would get stronger and stronger until even to move one foot took tremendous effort. This invisible force would be pulling me into the dark forest which was at the end of my village. I had this dream for years. I knew I was dreaming but could not do anything to stop it.
It had stopped for some years, but when I was about 10 years It started to happen again. In the dream I would be outside, the siren would go off this horrible screeching sound, and everyone outside would fight to get inside. But this time I had learnt a couple of tricks in dreams control, so I would try to create heavy objects to hold onto so that I would not get dragged down into the utter darkness. My success came when I created Cars but that to was being dragged into the darkness, then I created an SUV. And I floored the crap out of that van and I was just burning tires in one place, then one day I turned the SUV around and drove into the darkness. Guess what nothing was there, what a relief.
I thought it was over but guess what, just like those horror movies It came back again, but this time I was about 14 and It was no longer an invisible force. It had taken a form. it was the most horrible thing that I have seen, it was black and shapeless, it had incredible strength, it could walk up walls, move through walls. And its only purpose was to scare the living daylight out of me. I was helpless against this thing now, I didn’t even want to sleep. The thing ( I would call a demon) now would come into my room and just press me to the bed, I could not move, could not talk and could not breath, and that scared the living daylight out of me. It was treble in the night and even worst in the day. I practically stopped sleeping, because I knew If I fall asleep chances are that it would try and get me.
So I could not take it any more so I went and did what any despite 14yr old boy would do. I told my mother. But my mother was not any ordinary mother, her religion, which I would not say, had some ideas about what was going on. So she told me when I it come in my dreams, pray psalms 23 and it would go away and leave you alone. And she gave me a bush bath, it’s a bath prepared with special herbs and spices which suppose to have spiritual properties ( I don’t believe in that though).
That very night I was fighting sleep as usual when I did not even know that I was asleep, when I realized I was asleep it was too late, the window open to revile the black of night and the thing came through the window and straight on top me could not even make a move. Tried in vain to call out my mother but not a word came out, I was just there breathless and motionless scared stiff.
The following night I was prepared with my bible and ps 23 in my head, I fell asleep. I dreamt I was in my bedroom, on my bed I got up and placed my back to the wall and began to pray, and on the far corner of the room I could see the demon walking , looking for me like if it could not see me but I could see it, it passed straight without noticing me. It left for a while. I began to go to church, developed an incredible relation with God, ran my church youth group, finances, and was a trustees. Life was good.
Then one day during that period just before I fall asleep, I felt that old familiar horror, that pressing down on the bed I struggled for a while then I said, I give up you win, am not fighting anymore, It pressed, and pressed, and I just laid there thinking it will be all over soon. I was no longer afraid and as fast as it came It went away. That was my last nightmare, never had one since , that was also when I gain the confidence to Go anywhere and do anything my mind could conceive in my dreams
