Tasting in Dreams

I've been neglecting this dream journal as of late; I'd like to add this entry from a few nights ago, as something interesting happened to me.
This was towards the end of my span of sleep, and I had awakened once earlier in the morning. Returning to sleep often brings me vivid dreams, even though it isn't a typical WBTB as I don't focus on dreaming in any way as I fall asleep.
Regardless, I was preparing food for a fancy party, and had been told to use a rosé wine in a dish. To be sure that it tasted good, I splashed it onto my face, Neutrogena advertisement-style. The odd thing was, I could taste it so well! It tasted refreshing, light and fruity, and its flavour was every bit as rose-pink as it looked.
...I then proceeded to add the entire bottle to a bowl of scrambled eggs, saying to myself "What a waste!".
Notes:
- Typically, I don't taste things in my dream. That is, I don't ingest things, so tasting generally isn't an option. Even in brief lucid periods, I don't eat or drink anything more than water.
- The vividness of the wine's taste was remarkable, and it didn't taste alcoholic at all (nor have I ever had rosé wine).
