NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID
Good morning! Didn't recall much when I woke up, but after a bit of probing and thinking of random names and songs that were stuck in my head during the morning, I actually managed to recall four fragments.
21.30: Sleep
05.20: Fragments
*I'm standing on a street in the middle of the rain. I've got my hoodie up and people walk by without taking any notice of me. I enter the building to my new apartment right next to where I work. There's a cupboard right next to my door, and my computer's in there. I do some stuff on the computer and lock it all up. My sister asks me where I've moved to. I tell her where and she gives me a jealous look.
*I'm watching a plastic tub full of small fish. I try to find some silvery fishes to use as bait. I grab the smallest of them all and hook it. It wriggles as I pierce the fish over and over, the damn hook won't stick. The small fish dies and I throw it into the water, and starts floating. A few ducks nearby attacks the fish and I have to pull it in. One duck has brown teeth and refuses to let go until it's right by me.
*I arrive at a villa. Two fires are roaring and my sister and brother greets me. "Oh hi" they say, a bit uncertain, like they're hiding something. I look at the fires and realise they're way too big for just a regular dinner. "You're going to have a party right?" I ask them. They blush and tell me I'm right. "I'm sorry, but there's no room for you" my sister tells me. I can tell she really is. A friend of my brother shows up with a chocolate drink. He slaps me on the back, clearly drunk already.
*My friend Jonas has changed his appearance. He doesn't look anything like he did before. I know it's him, but a girl doesn't believe him. "It is me, I even removed my annoying habit of blinking too much" he tells her. I can tell he doesn't blink as often as he used to.
05.20: Wake up
Amount of sleep: 7½ hours
Supplements: Nothing
That's it! I'm thinking I'm gonna try to let the next lucid dream just go on as if it's another reality. KingYoshi is doing exactly that, and since you have to turn your focus away from your real body to stay in a dream longer, it's quite logical that just accepting a dream as another reality will prolong it. Instead of activating your senses actively (reminding yourself you're in your bed, dreaming), you do it more out of habit. Sure the complete control might not be there, but I'm ready to try something new!
Keep on dreaming, HARE BRA!
