Dad loses it and pulls out gun

I am spending time with my Dad, his wife Michelle, and my brother Miles. Some type of confrontation goes down in the parking lot I don't recall very well. We are at a Mexican restaurant eating and conversing. Dad is drinking with Miles when he says something that Miles doesn't like. Miles gets up and leaves. Dad is drunk at this point and continues to tease him as he is walking out. I hold him back which makes him want to act more like a fool than he already is. He is getting out of hand and yelling becoming increasingly pissed. I have a hold on his arm behind his back not letting him go anywhere. Some idiot states the obvious saying "This guy has had to much to drink" I look at him and say something like " Oh you think so" in a sarcastic manner, not taking it too seriously. He is becoming out of control as we make our way to the front counter, him pulling me as I hold his arm behind is back in an attempt to restrain him. He is just super pissed as I am telling everyone to call the cops knowing he will just get worse as he is drunk. At this point he is losing it and this part gets to me. I was thinking in the dream that he has gone a bit over the top this time. I am now in front of him holding him back from other people now. He looks as if he has been pushed to the limit of sanity, his face being beet red. He pulls out a gun and shoots right past me, being in the direction of his gun. I wake up still with some adrenaline pumping. I believe he was trying to shoot a person I was holding him back from. I remember thinking in the dream I just wanted to hug him to make him stop this madness because it bothered me seeing him act that way.
