I had a lucid dream! ...sorta.

I was doing what I usually do in my dreams (trying to run away from evil people) when I decided that flying would definitely help me get away from them. Then it clicked. "...I CAN FLY! I'M DREAMING!" so I started floating and then I thought "I'M GOING TO FLY FOR AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE NOW!"

I was still floating, but going higher and higher. I looked ahead and it was sort of a desert and I was looking right between two mountains (desert mountains). I was going to fly around them when I thought "wait, I had things to do" and I remembered my list of goals. Number one there is find my dream guide. So I decided to close my eyes and when I opened them I expected to see someone in front of me (I was actually expecting my dream guide to be myself), but... nothing. I shouted "DREAM GUIDE!!!" a couple times, still nothing. I landed (as I was calling my dream guide, I thought it'd be easier if I were on the ground) and I lost lucidity.

So basically, fail at controlling the dream (and it wasn't vivid at all... in fact, I barely remember the rest of the dream - before or after this moment of lucidity), but I was still lucid! Getting there!!!

Definitely getting there! Congrats! Did I mention that my first few lucids were like "I can float! I must be dreaming! But I could float even if I were awake" and then continued to float, oh and in the beginning I could just float in an upright position only about one or two inches from ground. But it got much better. You will be controlling those dreams before you know. In fact, i expect to hear about a successful conversation with your dream guide tomorrow, ok?

Hahaha that's quite the logical thinking there! I sometimes realise I'm dreaming, but dream me doesn't care about it... "I'm flying because I'm dreaming! Now I need to find my car to drive to the bus stop so that I can get to the mall and not miss my flight."

My first lucid dream where I REALLY took control of it was awesome, though. I literally jumped through the wall and flew as fast as dream-possible! Interestingly enough, I've always had trouble flying in my dreams, but that night it all worked out so well that now even in my non-lucid dreams, flying is easier. Non-lucid flying isn't perfect, but it's definitely better than it used to be! Although maybe it has something to do with the fact that I had a real life experience with a skycoaster about a month ago...

I make no promises, but I'll definitely try!!! I've been doing more reality checks now and I feel like it's definitely helping!

Thanks for all the support, Joanna!
