false awakening

Dreams recalled: 7

FOURTH night in a row with 7 dreams remembered. Weird... My dream recall seems great, but I want an LD!

Again, my dreams were short and very random. The first was some kind of big group of people getting excited about something... like a pep rally from high school but with adults...

Then I was in some weird softball game. I didn't bat but I was already on base. We were in a big stadium but it was completely grass. I was on third and talking to a few people who were standing behind me for some reason. I was laughing at how short the basepaths were. When I looked at home plate, it was only about 6 feet away. No one was there tho. I was then back in a line to bat. The man running the game was old and seemed grumpy. He started calling in people from the other team to come bat and made some weird changes...?

Then I was line for some type of buffet lunch with some friends, and it was everyone from the game. I couldn't find a plate, and saw that they had only brought out 5 plates, but there was about a hundred of us. We laughed at them only bringing out that many for so many people and started putting our food on napkins.

I had a brief dream about driving somewhere with one of my exes... Not sure where that went.

Another dream had someone behind a door. At one point I knew it was one of my friends but that kept changing. Two people were at the door with some type of guns, and they were going to bust the door down and rush in. I was watching this from afar, not really involved. It ended as they opened the door.

My first dream with a lot of running in it. I was in some kind of store with a couple friends. I went through an opened 'secret' door of some sort, but ended up in a room that looked like just another part of the store. One of the racks had only one shirt on it. I was then suddenly back in the main part of the store, and started running back towards the other room, idk why. My friends chased me, and it was some type of game for me to reach that shirt before they could catch up. When I got there I was taken back to the main part of the store again, and the chase repeated. The dream ended as I won the 'game' a second time and turned to look at my friends.

The last dream was a false awakening and I was half awake, one my exes(not the one from the earlier dream) called me. I answered and she said hi and it ended as I realized I couldn't be talking on the phone because my phone was downstairs.

I tried FILD last night, with no success. I think its because I tried it when I went to bed, instead of waking myself up in the middle of the night. I dread waking myself up but it would be worth it if it worked....

Day 2: No LD's last night, and again, 7 dreams recalled.

The most unclear was something about looking in a freezer... I don't remember what was in it.

(I have 2 bearded dragons in my room, and I occasionally dream about them) The next one, one of my dragons was standing up on its hind legs (something they can't do IRL). It was my smaller one, but in my head I knew it was my bigger one(??). I tried to lay him down but he resisted. I was in my basement, then later another dream I was in my room with him. He tried eating a little piece of styrofoam but I opened his mouth and I think he dropped it.

Another dream I had an extra tank(reptile tank), as I often have the wrong number/size of tanks in my dreams. It was empty, except for a bunch of very large crickets(more things that aren't the right size). I then realized that I had this tank for keeping 3 or 4 baby bearded dragons(not IRL). And that the crickets must have gotten so big because they weren't eaten so they had lived for too long. I couldn't see the baby bearded dragons, and worried they had died or were starving because their food was too big. I put my bigger dragon in the tank and he began eating the crickets. Then my smaller one was out of hers and in this one too(??). The larger one chased her for some reason and I separated them.

I then dreamed I was watching a weird show that my stepdad had put on. I didn't know what it was, but as I looked closer it was an old man on a rocky shoreline. He was trying to protect it or something, and was earth bending to push back the tide and make the land stick out further??

Another fuzzy one: I was in my basement with my pull up bar set up, and asked my friend if she had ever heard of a ______ (I don't remember what I said, just that it was something made up). She thought for a second and said something about a pull-up. I said yes and jumped up to the bar(its easily reachable IRL) and did a weird type of pull up(??)

Then I was in some sort of apartment complex and didn't know who lived there. I entered someone's apartment because I thought a friend had told me to but no one was with me(??) It was small and I didn't look around, but went outside on the walkway(it was the second story). I went up the stairs to the third floor and got on the roof, then down, then back on the roof again. I'm not sure why... I got down and went back into the apartment and the bed was in the main room for some reason, and I contemplated doing a backflip off of it. (I can do them IRL) But then I heard them coming home and I slipped out the back door. I went down and looped around another building, then back to the front of the building, although I should have just left. The door was open and it was my friend, in the same room I was just in except it had moved from the second floor to the ground floor(??). I suddenly had a balloon/stick thing in my hand. It was one of a pair that you bang together at sports games to make noise. I had some about 6 years ago, not sure if they make them anymore. This should have been a dream sign, because it just appeared in my hand. It was his, and I said something weird like, "did you lose this?" so they wouldn't think I had been in their apartment. But then I heard my phone get a text message, and my cell phone and car keys were in his apartment(??). He was laughing but knew I was in there and said, "what did you do?" and then there was a really weird lady there and she said it again, "yeah, what did you do?" and the dream ended.

My final dream was a false awakening, and I started writing down these dreams in my dream journal. I woke up later to see the page blank and started over.
