Dream - Lucid

I was at my house in the front yard. There was a guy there that looked like my ex from high school, but he also kinda looked like another one of my ex's from the beginning of college. I knew he wasn't really the guy from high school, but for the life of me, I couldn't figure out who he was. He said some really weird things to me, and they didn't even really make that much sense in the dream. I can't remember exactly what was said though. I know that he liked me and wanted to be with me, but I didn't want to be with him, because I was with Ryan.

At some point, there was a white cat with multicolored pastel spots on her back. I named her Sparkles.

Then, I was trying to handle my real life cat, Belle. I would pick her up and she would scratch the shit out of me. I took her to the vet and had to put her down on the ground because of this. She ran around the lobby of the vet's office. Then, something about the guy from earlier, weed, and my laptop, and these little clip thingies that could come on and off of the lapop.

Again, I took Belle to the vet. I got in my mom's car, and was holding Belle in my arms, because her carrier was too small. We got to the vet, which was, in the dream, located in the area that my dad's office is in waking life. She was fighting me again, so I let go of her, and she took off running out of the car and down the street. My friend Katie was there with me, and she took off after Belle. She didn't catch her, and Belle was nowhere to be seen. I was very upset. Then, I saw a group of dogs of all different kinds outside the vet's office. I started to hear birds singing, which jarred me awake.

Then, I woke up, and realized that my alarm hadn't gone off for work. I had heard the birds in my dream, which triggered me to freak out and wake up, because birds should not be singing when I have to get up for work. Fortunately, I made it on time, but I realized I had set my alarm for 5:30pm instead of am...whoops.
