Dream - Lucid - AP

I was trying to sleep, but I couldn't. I was not happy about that because I had to be up at 5 to be at work. I was extremely tired.

Then, I remember waking up, and my roommate, Tavia (a girl I used to work with, was never actually my roommate in waking life), who slept next to me, had left me a note saying she went home because she had a migraine. I was sad, because then I was alone. But I still had to get up in the morning, so I needed to try to sleep more.

I remember something about renting videos and books at a video rental place, and them being overdue. I wondered why I rented 2 books when I knew I couldn't have finished either of them before they were due back.

Then, I was laying in bed in my dark room again, with my laptop on. It was about midnight, and I was talking to my friend and coworker, Virginia, on some sort of blog site. She was telling me why she was up so late. She had to work with me in the morning too. I told her I just couldn't sleep. I think she said something about my last close being really good.

Then, I remember being in the car with some fat guy my age. We were sitting in the back seat while someone else drove. It was daytime. We were talking about giving blood. I told him I couldn't even if I wanted to because I don't weigh enough (a conversation I've had with many people many times in waking life). I remember looking at some sheet with weights on it saying how much blood you could give per weight. Someone asked why you would want to give blood anyway.

I was still extremely tired because I hadn't slept, and started to fall asleep in the car. I closed my eyes, and the fat guy sitting next to me started to lightly trace my lips and face with his fingers, and said
"I wish you didn't smoke cigarettes..."

I then felt myself "fall asleep" and thought I was entering a dream. I was actually waking up for real. I was relieved that I had actually slept.
