dream fragment

- I was at some piercing/tattoo shop, and decided to get my lip pierced twice for some reason. I was very nervous about the pain. They had some kind of hybrid of a piercing gun and a needle to do it with. I sat in the chair, squeezed my eyes shut, and told the girl there to go ahead. It didn't hurt at all. I told her so, laughed, and thanked her as she went to get studs to put in. I looked in the mirror and the holes were like this:

I'm not really a fan of upper lip piercings, and I just remembered that in the dream when I looked at it. I decided I'd wait and see how I felt about it later on. I noticed the holes looked like they were starting to close up already. The girl finally came back, but she only had these huge ugly Hello Kitty studs. They each had a cheap plastic HK figure on the front that was probably half an inch tall. She gave me one to put in. It hurt and looked gross, but I finally managed to shove it through.

It gets fuzzy around here. Before I did the next one, my mom suddenly showed up, and was angry that I'd done it without telling her. She told me to take them out, but I refused. Then I have a vague memory of the shop being held up or something and everything getting all scary and violent, but I was rudely awakened this morning so I'm not sure what happened.


- Fragment where I went to work to get my schedule and it was very awkward. (I was worried about having to do it today, but it went smoothly for once.)


- Something about French class...I know I remembered more this morning but I didn't write them down, so meh.

Longest one was Toronto again, looking for a movie to watch...then something about starting a new unit in some school...and one about watching the next ep of Gurren Lagann and it was really intense. Didn't get a very good sleep on the floor, lol.

- I dreamt I was in a shared dream with N, and we both knew it, but I wasn't really lucid. We were 'practising' something, not sure what, for a rave we were going to go to. We did it a few times, and I think we were able to teleport back to the start to try it again. I think we were in Toronto, but the area reminds me slightly of the outside of a movie theatre in my city. I was in my pink HK pyjamas and I think he was in PJs as well, and we said we'd be wearing our pants and stuff when we did it IWL.

After a few tries he said he wanted to do some dream stuff. We went over to a portal of sorts to the left of the building we were near. It was a glowing yellow rectangle on the ground that was maybe 2'x1'. He created or summoned some sort of creature from it, and so I decided to try that as well. I said, "rainbow cat!" and a brightly glowing yellow mass emerged from the portal. Within a few seconds it started forming into the shape of an animal, and the glow faded away to reveal a small, very fluffy cat with rainbow fur. It was like each clump of ~10 strands of fur or so was a different colour, and the effect was really pretty. I picked her up just before waking up.


- A fragment in which I got in trouble with an older woman more than once for dragging my feet when I walked. I don't usually do that.


- An even smaller fragment which involved me doing badly on an exam. This was the night before I had exams, but I wasn't too worried about them.

- I had a miniature version of the Snowager from Neopets living under my sink.

One day, I was sitting under a blanket across from the cupboard under the sink, and it was open a bit. I saw his head poke out. He had red eyes. I looked him in the eye for a moment, then hid under the blanket. After a few seconds, I peeked out again, and he was still looking at me. I'm not sure why, but I glared at him. This made him angry. I was like "oh shit" and ran into the porch and closed the door.

I saw him burst out of the cupboard and slither towards the door. He went right up to the window and stared at me, then slithered into the living room. He then started going back and forth between the two rooms, and I was worrying that he would break something. He was probably about 5 feet long and a foot tall. I started freaking out and wanted to call someone, but I didn't have a phone or my iPod. I could see the phone inside, and tried to figure out the right moment when I could open the door quickly and grab it. I tried to do so a few times, but each time, it would end up being only a small piece of the outside of the phone, and I never got the battery. Eventually I ended up with my iPod somehow and iMessaged my mom. As I did so, the Snowager went upstairs. I wasn't sure if he could before. I was worried about what he would do up there. The message I got back from my mom didn't sound concerned at all, and she gave me some sort of advice, but I don't remember what it said.


- I was trying to apply for a job at a small corner store. The inside looked like a cabin and I don't remember seeing anything for sale. I'm pretty sure they weren't actually hiring, but I was trying to convince him to hire me anyway. The guy working there seemed around 30-40 and looked kind of like my math teacher. He mentioned there was another girl working there, and started talking to me about how much he loved her and how he used to date her. I got the impression she was around my age or a bit older, and her name started with a K.


- I was playing Crossfire with N, I hit tab and saw I was actually doing well somehow, I think it was like 28-7. People were like "hakker" and stuff, lol. I felt kinda bad.


- I remembered another fragment earlier that had to do with a job as well, but I can't remember it now.

- I was with a couple people in a big field surrounded by a fence, and we were battling a tree. It lashed out at us with its branches and had kind of a cartoony angry face. I remember thinking it was like the whomping willow from Harry Potter, but I haven't seen/read HP in a long time so I'm not sure how similar it really was, and I thought it was unfair that we weren't in a car. I was thinking it seemed impossible to defeat it and it seemed like I would get badly hurt if I got any closer, even though the two people I was with were close to it. I decided to leave anyway. I turned and went towards the corner of the fence, where there was an opening. As I was walking, the tree suddenly grew much bigger. I understood it was like a boss in a video game and this was the second stage of the battle. But I realized it could almost reach me with its branches then, and was trying to. I ran as fast as I could towards the exit, barely missing being hit, but managed to make it out of the fenced-in area.

Outside, the field continued, and there was a small stream. Just across the stream was a small house, which I entered. There were some more people there, and soon after, the people who had been battling the tree came in as well. They said we would have to wait until the next morning to continue with the battle.

Time seemed to skip forward at this point, and it was early in the morning. There was only one person in the house. I talked with them a bit and said I was going to go check out what it was like outside and what the tree was up to. I'm not sure where the rest of the people were, but I was talking to them on MSN on my phone, and I said I would be right back. I put on a pair of polkadotted rainboots I found in the porch and left.

I went to the edge of the fence and peeked around it to look at the tree. It had just woken up and was in the middle of a big yawn. I quickly moved back so it wouldn't see me. Upon turning back around and starting to walk, I realized suddenly how amazing the landscape was. I think it was the most beautiful dreamscape I've ever seen. It's difficult to describe how nice it was. The sky was rainbowy from the sunrise, and there were hills of soft grass as far as I could see. There were patches of small bright pink and blue flowers. Everything looked crisp and slightly frosted over, and glowy, as if it were being lit from behind by a cool blue light. I realized later that it reminds me of this picture:

which is just a picture from deviantart I favourited but haven't looked at for a while. Anyway, after admiring it for a minute, I decided I had to get back to the house and tell everyone what I'd seen, otherwise they would worry, but that I would come back outside after. I went back to the house, but accidentally walked into the stream. I was annoyed for a second, but then realized I was wearing rainboots so it was okay. I walked through the stream a bit, then up onto the other side and into the house. I told whoever was there that I was going to go back out, but unfortunately woke up before that happened. I'd like to revisit this place in a lucid sometime.


- One of my cats was missing for a few days. I was scared, but eventually found her under my bed, sleeping curled up under a blanket. We thought it was really strange that she'd been there for so long and was still perfectly fine. She had this red and green headband with some feathers and ribbons that was significant and magical somehow and explained why she slept for so long. I think maybe it supposedly put you in some sort of trance or something? And I think someone said it was Indian. None of us knew much about it, but we knew my late grandfather did. We planned on asking him to tell us about it, and then he would write us a note and leave it somewhere, because this was apparently something you could do.


- Also a small fragment where I was in an elevator and only went up one floor.

- I was on a vacation with family at some sort of weird anime-themed hotel covered with Christmas decorations. There was a library cart full of manga for sale, and a guy I didn't know was looking at it. He asked me if I knew how much it was. I saw a piece of paper stuck to the cart and read it. It said $14.99, and he was like "oh okay, so like $20 then". Then I realized it said $14.99 for hardcover, and I think $9.99 for softcover, but the paper was all jumbled up and confusing. I tried to tell him this, but he wasn't listening. I looked to the left and saw a rack of magazines and started looking at them. The same guy came over and started looking too. He grabbed a copy of a magazine called BPM Magazine which was apparently about rhythm games and started talking to me excitedly about it. The cover looked something like this:

Really ugly basically, lol. I wish I remembered what it said about DDR. The entire thing was made out of newsprint as well. There are some magazines called BPM, but none look like this, and I'd never seen any before. Anyway, I just sort of ignored him and went off again.

Then I was packing up to go, and there was some woman there I didn't know. There was something of hers I wanted and contemplated stealing, so I took it and put it in my bag [I wouldn't do this IWL!], then decided it was wrong [see? xD] and tried to take it out, but the woman was talking to me from a bunk bed and watching me pack. I managed to take it out and just sort of shove it under a nearby couch. I walked across the room, passing by a Christmas tree. I realized it was decorated, and mentioned to my mom who was there that we hadn't decorated our tree, then thought for some reason that it was our tree and we would have to pack it up and take it home. She reminded me it wasn't, then I noticed it was only a half tree, like this:

which I actually talked about with my mom a couple days ago. She hadn't noticed either. I went over to where she was, next to a bed, and she told me to look around and make sure I hadn't forgotten anything. I saw some small acrylic charms on the ground and knelt down. I thought they were rainbow llamas at first, but then when looking at them straight on I realized one was a lion and one was another animal. I gave them to her then looked under the bed. The floor under the bed was COVERED with tiny anime styled acrylic charms, most were of one type but different colours, and a few were mini figurines. One was a figurine of two beartatos running an ice cream stand or something.


- Also a fragment where I was baking something for someone while they were there.

I should have written this down earlier... I don't remember much anymore, but I was at some sort of weird camp or something and there were 3 things they had to test if you were allergic to, one of them was water. It was determined that I was allergic to water, but then I got in the water and nothing happened. The dream skipped and I ended up on this weird wooden structure in the middle of a lake. There was this guy on it too, like mid 20s, who creeped me out. He was smiling at me really weirdly and his teeth were dirty. I was telling him I was allergic to water because I wanted him to think that for some reason, but he asked me to prove it. I was trying to avoid it. The dream skipped again and I was swimming in the lake, on the other side of the wooden thing, quickly trying to hide from it behind a large mossy rock. The overall atmosphere of the dream was kind of creepy.

These hardly seem worth writing down in detail lol but I might as well...

- N came to my house and made veggie chicken nuggets in the microwave. I talked about my toaster oven. He went in the fridge and got BBQ sauce. I asked if he'd ever tried it with honey. He said no and I got some and he tried it and it was good. xD

- I was in some sort of class, possibly art, and someone was supposed to play like...some Christmas song? or something? So they played it but it was Save Me by Darren Styles, except I was the only one who noticed, and everyone else thought it was a Christmas song.

- Toronto. Again. Nothing really happened.

I took some B6 and had quite a few more dreams but didn't write them down and forgot.

- I was with four people in a little village and it was nighttime. It was sort of like a video game but wasn't. They were teaching me about it. They told me that if I closed my eyes I could get to a different version of the place. I closed my eyes and saw faint outlines of another little village, and when I opened my eyes the people were gone. I was confused, but closed my eyes and tried again. This time I focused on the image behind my eyes, and suddenly found myself inside it. When I closed my eyes there, I saw the original place faintly. In the new place it was daytime. I saw my four friends standing there and they congratulated me on figuring it out. They seemed to be glowing slightly.

This new land was amazing. Everything was very bright, the sun was shining and everything seemed to have a golden glow to it. All the colours were really bright. It looked a bit like some sort of friendly town in a game or a cartoon. It had brightly coloured puffy houses, yellowy cobblestone roads and lots of trees and flowers. The general look of the buildings and colour scheme and stuff reminds me of a picture I drew the other day, to give you an idea. I walked over to my right onto some grass and saw a little black and white cat sitting on the step of a huge lilac mansion. I approached the cat and said "hi!" as I reached down to pet her. To my surprise, she responded, "hi". xD I understood that the animals there were capable of speaking English, but most of them didn't very often. I went back to my left a bit and saw what looked like a really big guinea pig with a pink heart on its chest sitting in the shade of a tree. I approached her too, but she ran away. I did coax her out eventually and pet her a bit too.

All the trees were full of really delicious bright fruit. I walked through the town with my friends just looking at everything and knowing I could come back whenever I wanted. There was sort of a set path through the town and you would exit at the end. When I got to the end, there was a small waterfall in a really lush forest area with a cherry tree nearby. I ate a few cherries then went into the waterfall and went back into the normal world. My friends were waiting for me there. When I told them about the delicious cherries, they laughed and said everyone said that.

I'm sure I was with N at some point as well, because I remember thinking it was odd but nice that we were only apart for 2 weeks. I knew it was a dream in the back of my mind and was a bit sad, but decided to just focus on enjoying it and keeping it stable. I seem to remember feeling a black and white couch but I don't know where. I felt like it was going to be a really long dream. I only thought about this for a little bit though, most of it wasn't lucid. At one point also I waited for something longer than necessary, and then got a bit annoyed because it was a waste of dream time.

After I got out I remember hanging out with my friends (I don't actually know who they were) and there was this other guy talking to one of them. He was asking, "is there a train in the land? is there a choo-choo?" and my friend said there was. Then my friend asked if he had some kind of device, not sure what. The guy hesitated and then said, "my imagination...?" which was what I was just thinking, but then my friend was like "besides that."

I really enjoyed the place in this dream and I hope to revisit it in a lucid dream someday.


- I had another short dream where I was in my house and I saw a small creature dart across the living room floor. My cat went to investigate and so did I. Over by the vent under the window, there were 3 rats trying to hide; one was white and grey, one was light brown, and I think the third was white. They were really cute, and I moved my cat out of the way so she wouldn't hurt them. I was going to try to save them, and I was thinking about how would be best to do it.


- Another tiny fragment where someone like cast a spell on me or something and then was like, "there! now you're a really good singer!" I sang a bit but couldn't hear much difference.


- Also written in my DJ: "also possibly something about a hotel". I don't remember this though.

Fragment where I was playing Mario Kart 3DS. I wasn't exactly inside of it but my entire field of vision was the game. It looked nice but the controls were really unresponsive and drifting was ridiculously hard, I kept crashing into things.

I dreamt I was smoking cigarettes with a friend (never have irl). They were pleasant but burned very quickly. Also something about waiting around in my room for a long time and some kind of purple dye.

I had a pretty good lucid, I wish I could remember more of it. So last night/this morning I fell asleep around 3am after being on DV for an hour or two writing and reading DJ entries, woke up around 6am, went and brushed my teeth and put stuff away and went back to sleep shortly after 6. I had this dream and woke up again around 9:30 to write down what I could.


I'm not sure how I became lucid or anything. I don't remember much about the first part of the dream, only stuff towards the end. The environment was almost too realistic. I had to keep doing nose plug RCs to know I was still dreaming, because that was the only one that worked. My hands were normal, clocks didn't change (the alarm clock in my room said 10:42), technology worked fine, and text was readable. I was in my room for most of the parts I can remember, and everything looked completely normal; even the amount of light coming through the curtains and the position of the door were around the same when I woke up. I tried to make magic with my hands for the first time, but it didn't work. I also wanted to jump out of my window and fly around, but I couldn't get through the window for some reason. So basically there wasn't a whole lot to do.

I remember thinking in the dream that it was really long and that it seemed to have been around an hour. I even considered that things could have just jumped forward to make it seem like more time had passed, but I remembered everything that had happened up to that point. (wish I could now lol) I thought once or twice about waking up but quickly got the idea out of my mind.

I remember something about watching a ~10 minute long youtube video on my laptop, and that I skipped back to earlier in the video at one point. I think it was funny, and I think there was an old man with a beard in it, wearing a yellow coat in a snowy place. I was also talking to N on MSN. Everything on the computer was working completely normally. N was also dreaming apparently, and was telling me what was happening. At one point he apparently woke up but was still talking to me. He was like 'man do you know what I was dreaming about?' and I was like 'yeah I wrote it all down as you were telling me!' He then started rereading the conversation, at one point being like 'wait what?' because a lot of it was nonsensical words and gibberish. He mentioned one made-up word that started with M and was 5-6 letters, but I don't remember what it was. He said 'brb' at 1:09, but came back a minute or two later, and the last message in the convo I remember seeing was at 1:11 (PM I think).

Trying to entertain myself in my room, I started dancing at one point for some reason, but got tired very quickly. I was disappointed that I would get that tired in a dream.

It was nearing the end here and I was starting to lose lucidity. I looked out my window and saw a whole bunch of kids milling around in my neighbour's backyard. I was afraid they would be able to see me and ducked down. After that I took my laptop and went downstairs. My mom was there on the chair. I put my laptop down on the couch and went somewhere else for a minute, then came back and saw the laptop was open to a folder full of pictures I didn't recognize and it was downloading them from somewhere. I couldn't remember if I'd left my laptop in there with my mom all of a sudden and got worried that there were bad pictures on there and she saw them, but she didn't say anything.

Suddenly everything started to fade and I realized I was going to wake up. I couldn't feel my body and my vision was just a computer screen showing a pictures folder again, I don't remember what they were. There was a little orange arrow in between two of them that I knew was 'marking my place' somehow. I started to hear voices asking me things like, "Hey, can you hear us? Is this okay?" It was as if I was just waking up from some kind of experiment or surgery.

Then I found myself in my bed, did an RC and was awake. I grabbed my iPod to record what I could, annoyed that I forgot a lot of it.

This wasn't part of the same dream I don't think, but I dunno when it was so I'll put it here. It was just a fragment where there was this weird creepy TV show or something with these two creepy guys, and I was there with someone else while they were filming it, and I think there were a bunch of kids around too. We'd seen the script or something saying they were going to bring out a baby. They came out with this bag, said something and took out this figure probably around 6 inches long. It was apparently the baby and I couldn't really tell if it was a living thing or not, it looked like a Barbie doll except with kind of strange angular body shapes, and it was moving constantly. I was pretty sure it was just a doll though.


All that text and hardly anything actually happened, lol. After this accidental WBTB, I think I'll try doing one on purpose soon, after 3 hours, and see if I have any luck.

- I was on a trip to the states with N. We went to a really big Hot Topic, but somehow we lost each other in there, and I couldn't find him for the rest of the day. We were supposed to go to a rave called 'EDC' that night, just the acronym, except it had no connection to actual EDC, it was just called that. But I ended up going without him.

I wore my PJs, had no bag or kandi or anything and was kind of sad that I hadn't worn my pants and stuff and was kind of confused about why, but had the faint knowledge in the back of my mind that it was only a dream, so it was okay. No lucid though.

The party was held inside a bank, which was absolutely massive and had nothing in it for some reason. There were a lot of people but it wasn't too crowded, and there were orangey lights over the whole thing. I ended up finding this kandi making place which was on this odd structure that reminded me of an arcade machine, but wooden and painted turquoise. There were shelves in it though and I hopped up and sat on it so I could get at everything. There were plastic containers full of beads, plus a few singles people had already made and left. There was also tons of normal and coloured elastic. There was one single that was red/gold/black and had these really cute black cat beads with a gold outline and red eyes. I took it for the beads. There was another single that had these really tiny pastel bunnies (in kinda the same shape as a bunny button I have) as well as tiny plastic pastel spheres. I took that one too. Then there was a container with these cool round bright swirly beads, so I grabbed a couple. I also took some pink elastic.

I ended up meeting some cool people, and I was all awkward but they were nice and we sat in a circle and talked. I don't think I ended up actually making anything, though I intended to since I'd forgotten to wear any.

When it was over I was sad N hadn't been there and felt like maybe I should have tried harder to contact him, but I tried again and still couldn't reach him. Someone was there to pick me up, but they didn't know what was going on and I didn't want to tell them where I'd been. I got in the car, then told them to hold on, ran back into the bank and grabbed more beads lol. I came back to the car and the person asked me why on earth I got beads at the bank. I had no answer to that.


- I can hardly remember any of this one now, but I was with some weird guy, and I wanted to cut my hair but I wasn't allowed, and then he took my phone. There was some sort of plot though I think.

- I was in a house I've never seen before with some woman. She told me to take a bath, but I just went and laid down in the dry tub with my clothes on, as some sort of joke. I was there for a couple minutes, I noticed the tub was quite big and a bit dirty. The room was also kind of shabby and plain, but the house was big. The shower curtain was blue and yellow and mostly closed. There was a yellow facecloth in it as well.

The woman came in the room and I sat up, laughed and then asked her if I could take a shower. She said I could, but I got out and followed her out of the room instead. She was holding a little plastic light blue and white folding footstool. I asked where she got it, and she said someone she knew wanted to return it, so she went with them and bought it immediately after they returned it, "right off the shelf".

She was looking for somewhere to store it, but the house was huge and really messy and cluttered. At one point she said, "look, there's even pizza here!" Sure enough, there was a clear container full of pizza on some shelf. Finally she found an empty box that was supposedly a pizza box, but was taller and about the size of the stool. She explained that she remembered this box was what she had brought the stool home in, and put it in.


- I had a short dream in the morning that I got up, grabbed my laptop, and went back into bed to use it. I used it for a bit then went to shut down, except I realized after I clicked the button in the start menu that it had a word on it that meant 'turn on' rather than 'shut down'. I don't remember the word but I think it was similar to 'continue'. I thought that was weird and wondered what it would do, but it shut off normally.


- Also I have a weird fragment of going into my dark room and hearing a really annoying cell phone alarm going off. I was angry because I didn't want it to go off, and I had been afraid I forgot to turn it off. I don't think any alarms went off irl or anything.


Note: Had some stuff before bed again, but my mom woke me up a few times to nag me, so I forgot several dreams. :/

- I was with a bunch of people at my old elementary school, and we had gotten caught smoking, so we had to hide in these bushes. They were at the front of the school, and they were partly bushes and partly art/sculptures? of some kind. It was like the side facing the street was normal bushes, and the side facing the schoolyard had material draped over it and was supposed to be some kind of abstract art piece.

Anyway, we were running away from these people who had caught us, who were the police or something, and the only place we could hide was behind the draped material. You could see us completely from the street, but I was concerned about anyone seeing us from the schoolyard for some reason. I hid, but then jumped out and ran a couple meters away to see if we were completely hidden from that side. You couldn't see anyone, except you could see this odd purplish soft-looking fire coming out. I went back and told whoever had the fire to put it out, then I hid again.

A few moments later, someone tapped me on the shoulder. I turned and saw a bald man, and realized they'd found us. He was handing out pieces of paper that said what we had done and our punishment. Mine said I had to give him $250 for him to not tell my parents, and I started crying to one of my friends because I didn't have that much.


- I was at school in design class. The room looked sort of like the computer lab I had design in last year, and it was a bit dark. My mom suddenly showed up, she was wearing a light blue t-shirt and she was pregnant. She announced that she was going to the hospital and asked if I wanted to come. She was acting really weird and I was slightly embarrassed. I was trying to decide if I wanted to go right then or not, I kept changing my mind for a long time. Finally I said I would go, and she left.

I left the classroom and started walking down the hall. It didn't look anything like my school or any building I've been in before, though it kind of reminds me now of a school or building I was in in a dream a long time ago. It was all white, very big and very complicated to get around. I kept taking wrong turns when trying to get out. I thought I'd found the exit, which was down a little side hallway and to the right at the very end, but when I turned, I saw there were just a couple steps leading down into an empty dark music/band room. It reminds me slightly of an entrance to the music room at my old elementary school (the one I was at in the last dream).

I turned back, and realized the exit was actually near the beginning of the little side hallway I came from and to the right. The door was raised pretty far off the ground and there was a big light blue chunk underneath it, almost like a step but not quite. I vaguely remember a girl being there. I believe I went through the door but that's the last part I remember.


- Weird fragment about some webcam show I was watching. At one point the guy on it had this little figurine that he was squeezing and fake shit was coming out of a hole in the bottom, and he was saying "shiiiiitttt" in a really weird voice.


- Also had a LOT of weird half-asleep dreams about talking on MSN on my iPod. This happens fairly often, but there were a lot more than usual. The only one I remember is me saying something like "I have something I think you'll like" and I got the impression I was selling something, and I had a picture in my head of the eyes of a drawing I was working on a lot yesterday and just finished today.


Note: 100mg of B6 and a bunch of cheese before bed. Felt similar to last night, but I forgot a lot more.
