Somewhere Over The Rainbow

Wasn't even trying! This one felt SO real. I can't believe I realized I was dreaming.

I get out of bed and go to our office. I notice that my boyfriend has set up the desk that is normally at my mom's house, in a corner in the office. I think that's strange but that it'll be nice to have it there. I notice that there is carpeting on the floor, which is strange, because we have hardwood. I go back out into the living room and am still looking at the carpeting. Then I realize how bizarre this is and tell myself this must be a dream. I kneel down and try to melt my hands through the floor as a test, but it doesn't work, so I think maybe I'm not dreaming. I see a chunk of floor missing and start to tear it up with my hands. Then I realize what a weird thing that is for me to be doing, and think "yeah, I AM dreaming." I say this to myself and continue tearing up the floor. I have a mischievous look on my face as I'm doing this. Then I turn to our living room windows, which are floor to ceiling, and try to burst through them to see what happens....then I wake up.

This dream was exactly like another dream I had when I first tried to get back into LDing again years ago. It was at home, it was really simple, and it was something not right in my house that triggered realizing that I was dreaming. Both times I tried to fly through the window.
