Dream No. 295 - Separated Sections

Dream 295 A - The Dangerous Coast
I don't remember how the dream started. From what I can remember, I was in some grassed area, like a simulation of World 1 in the Mario games but forgot what I was specifically doing. There I saw some Mario characters; I specifically remember Waluigi and Bowser. I also forgot what they were doing. I did eventually realise altogether that I was in a game myself.

I then did some exploring by myself and eventually met up with my mum. We ended up in my version of World 2 which ended up being the beach. We walked down to the coastline and the water there was the bluest you'd ever see, almost like the colour of some gel aqua toothpaste. At first the waves were calm but as the dream progressed, the waves started getting bigger and bigger and for the first time in the dream, I was feeling scared.

It felt like the waves were going to come up to me and wash me away. So as the waves were getting increasingly bigger, I would inch more and more backwards, while my mum did the smart thing and was already standing on the grassed area. The waves did reach my mum though and all her personal belongings went spilling out of her handbag. I managed to save some stuff but the most important item, her purse, was now washed very far out and I was panicking.

For the first time in this dream, I screamed out “Miss T!” in the distressed, most loudest voice I could. A holographic version of Dreamy WB appeared and she stretched an arm out, actually elongating it in this dream, and literally reached under, swatting my mum's purse out of the water, it flying sky-high and then landing on the grass in front of my mum. I have forgotten what else happened in this scene.

My mind is blank on how the next scene started but I can recall what happened in some parts of it. I was planning to go somewhere but had come across a huge hill that I didn't want to expend my energy on. Once again, I called out “Miss T!” further explaining to the awareness why I didn't want to take myself up the hill. I had to call for her a few times this time before she appeared.

Eventually, Dreamy WB did appear in a holographic form, slightly larger than me, but it was a male equivalent (so this must be a Mr. T instead). He gave a smile in the same shape like the female Dreamy WB would and his teeth were in the same neat arrangement. Also, his eyes, nose, and every other feature of him were in the same position and the same shape of the female Dreamy WB. The only thing different about him was the men's haircut, the manly prickles of his skin and the fact that he put on just a little bit of weight. He was wearing a red chequered shirt with plain blue jeans and brown casual shoes.

The male Dreamy WB acted really nice and gentlemanly towards me. I noticed that when he spoke, it was the same speech patterns of the female Dreamy WB, only his voice was different, like some deepening audio filter was in effect. He patted his hands on his thighs twice, inviting me to come and sit on his lap. I climbed up onto him and parked myself, only sitting on one of his legs as he was larger than I thought... So theoretically, a second person could have ridden on him as his left leg was still available.

It was interesting because this time, he didn't use his arms to lock me in place. He did talk to me a for a bit while we were still at the bottom of the hill but I forget what he said. I do remember though that he laughed and rubbed his hand on my shoulder (the one that was furthest away from him). Then he started to ascend and I think the reason for him not locking me in place this time is because he was going very slowly, I never fell off him though and rather stayed pretty still the whole time. Part way through ascending, he looks at me, smiling again, and says “It's just like an elevator”.

I think he was referring to how Dreamy WB is always helping me face my fear and he, as the male version, retains the same memories and thoughts of the female Dreamy WB. They are the same person but the dream just placed a gender effect upon them. So he was hinting how he was ascending just like an elevator typically would, the only difference being slant-ways up a hill and not vertically via a shaft. Just as we got to the top of the hill, that dream ended.

Dream 295 B - Disgrace Of A TAFE Teacher
I don't remember how this dream started. From where I do remember, I was at my house but I forgot what I was doing there. The dream then changed so I was at this random house, supposedly for a TAFE class but the instructor is no one that I know of in real life. The class is taking place in a bedroom with many beds in it. One person I remember well was JLy and she received some sort of face mask that had writing on it, apparently it was the things that identify her strengths. It said things like “Chinese”, “Works past required hours”, “High grades”, “Sleeps well”, etc.

I picked up another mask and I knew it was talking about my strengths. The things that were written on my mask were things like “Beautiful figure”, “Very prayerful”, “Powerful mind”. As I was about halfway through reading what was on my mask, the teacher comes and whips it away from me at the speed of lightning. She has this aggravated look on her face and says something like “You don't deserve that mask. The only thing you'll be seeing is God's shadow” and in the dream, I knew that she was talking about a dark side of God.

I was shocked at what she did that I decided to walk out on her at the class; I now thought that was evil and that she was a creep. As I was just outside the bedroom, I whispered to myself, “Geez, I may have shown some disrespect towards God in the past but that is just the lowest of anything I've seen!”. I was out of that house as quick as possible so I wouldn't get into trouble by anyone in there. I thought to myself, “I'd better get out of here before they know I've gone”.

When I was out of the house, I flew past the windows, only to discovered that the red-haired teacher lady was violently peering through one of them, which gave me the fright of my life. I knew she was after me now and so I started calling “Miss T!”, as I scampered away from the property as fast as possible. No matter how fast I went, I always had this internalised fear that the lady would be coming after me. I called for Dreamy WB/Miss T quite a lot of times but nothing was happening.

It felt like I was in my local area when I was outside the lady's house, so I knew which streets to go down to try and get away from it all. I went up the hill towards the school, still desperately calling “Miss T!”. Someone appears but it wasn't who I thought it would be. It was a little chubby girl, still African but I could tell she was a different person, in fact she was just a child! She had her hair tied back in a ponytail, all set in tiny braided strands and she was wearing thick black glasses. She goes to me, “She isn't available at the moment, I'm Miss M” (Miss M was her actual name, not an abbreviation) as she spread her arms out to hug me.

There was some relief in having Miss M appear to help me but after I continued on my way, the problems weren't gone. It subconsciously felt like the lady was hot on my tail again. Although I didn't want to, it felt like I was going towards the vicinity of the house again. Once there in the front yard, the lady was violently looking at me through the window again. Again, I screamed “Miss T!” as I quickly changed direction in an attempt to fly away as fast as I could.

I was dog-paddling in the lower heights of the sky. At one point, I thought I was getting away. I was only flying in one direction but for some weird reason, I was coming towards the house again... Kind of like the idea of the endless stairs in Super Mario 64. I was now screaming louder than ever, “Miss T!!!!!!!”. Still nothing but I am not giving up. Still not being able to escape the perimeters of the house, I scream, “Miss T! Give me a greater distance!”. This time, she actually appears but as she does, I am on my way to waking up.

Dream 295 C - Birthday Girl
I don't remember much of this dream. From what I can remember, my family and I were shopping somewhere in Ferntree Gully but I forgot what we bought. The dream then moved to my other grandparents' house where we were having some sort of family gathering. There was some sort of competition taking place over there where we had to make something original and my dad was the official judge. I made something weird with a lunch container, some foil, and a few strips of plasticine clay. At first he said it wasn't original enough but when he saw the clay, he accepted my entry.

We were then all in the sitting and I thought to myself that I wasn't dressed as well as I could be... I looked a bit scruffy for my usual standards. I decided what I was going to wear and it ended up being a pine-green dress with a cream coloured belt and some green earrings. I went into one of the bedrooms that had a mirror to put my earrings on.

My grandma from my dad's side came into the bedroom to see what I was going. She mentioned something about my birthday but I forgot exactly what it was. She then put a little bag next to me and it was presents from the grandparents. When my grandma left the room, I started to examine what was in it. I was amazed with what they gave me. One present was this entire rainbow pack of jewellery making beads that they had found at Coles. I can't remember what happened after that.

I have signed up for the Lucid dreaming competition, which will be starting from the next dream. During the space of the 2 - 2.5 weeks (how ever long the competition runs for, there will be a counter at the bottom of my journals to help with points and just basic aspects. Just a bit of an insight (as this is my first competition) as to how my in-dream family are going to help me out. I have selected a panel of three dream guides and a panel of three emergency members. The dream guides will act as normal and will be able to gain points if there are any special tasks for dream guides. The emergency team members can act like dream guides, however, they cannot score points for me when it comes to any dream guide tasks. The main role of the emergency team is to help me out if I am facing a "sudden death" or "no turn-back scenario" and none of the dream guides are available. My self journal rule is that I am only allowed to call one (or more) of the emergency team as a last resort.

So for instance, with the summoning task: If I am in a dire situation and I call out "Dreamy WB!", that's 10 points (only if she successfully appears). But if I am in a dire situation and I call "Logan!", he can help me but his contribution will only score 5 points as per a normal DC. In summary, the emergency team are there for when things go horribly bad, even with matters outside competition scoring parameters. Think of the emergency team like Technical Support.

In the future, during the competition, I may improve the counter the show points and other side aspects but for now, the above counters are how they'll be formatted for my initial run.
