Venus mantrap dream: This dream was kind of like a story. It involved someone trapped inside a Venus mantrap. A boy or possibly a young fantasy creature figured it out through some poem or vision he had while in class. He notified the authorities, and there was a fighting scene, with some creatures trying to stop the rescue. But the person was rescued from the Venus mantrap. I may be wrong, but I have the sense that I started trying to get a handle on recall of this while still asleep.

WBTB attempt failed - trouble falling back asleep

HH: I was not asleep yet, and actually had trouble falling asleep, but had a wonderful hypnagogic hallucination: very vividly I saw a woman with a clipboard in her hand. She looked like maybe someone from a doctor's office. And I heard her ask me "What are you doing here?" In response I thought at her "Trying to fall asleep"
