It was part of my job to persuade the angry woman to give my teammates access. She was mad because we kept sending new people who were not only new to our team but did not have much work experience and were cocky (self confident with nothing to back it up). Given that our job involved top secret espionage, specifically spying in China, I could really appreciate the woman's point of view, that she did not want to give access to these newbies. However, it was my job to try to persuade her to give them access anyway.
