Non-Lucid Dreams
Febuary 10th 2013 @ Around 10 AM Dream Lucid Awake I was at the West Edmonton Mall water park. The water park looked as if it had increased around 10x in size, because there seemed to be hundreds of people in the pool. The main attraction was that they added this giant pirate ship that people could go on, and drive around in the enormous pool. There were around 50 people on the boat, like me, who were terrified about how deep the water was inside the pool. We must've been riding the boat in the "deep end" Eventually the boat started going out of control, and people realized that the guy piloting it was gone. Since the boat was moving ferociously, nobody could get to the wheel and it had eventually flipped upside down and everyone fell out. It was very chaotic, people were yelling, the lights dimmed, and I swam to the edge of the pool by the shallow end, and held on to the side of the pool so I wouldn't have to tread water. Beside me was a good friend of mine, and in front of me, outside of the pool standing, was two girls from school. Eventually the lights in the water park started to dim, and these two twins I know, jumped into the pool and suggested that we all play underwater volleyball. I was confused because all my friends had gone in the water and started setting up the nets. I tried to come underwater but I felt like everything was going black, so I resurfaced for air. I couldn't swim upwards, so I had to do these giant squat lunges so I could jump up out of the water, resurface, and take a breath in. I must have been jumping 10 ft. up underwater. This is when I started realizing that there was a timer at the bottom right of my vision saying 5:33. It was a timer to how much longer I could stay underwater. This is when I realized I was in a dream so I ignored the fact that everything didn't make sense. I went on the court to play volleyball with everyone. My friend hit the ball over, and I hit it back. The ball curved viciously to the left and looked like it was going to land outside of the court. Apparently, the ball curved back, and hit my friend who then hit it out, which had gotten us a point. This girl I used to like was in front of me, and she turned around to congratulate me. She was smiling and laughing and told me that I wasn't that bad. I reached out to give her a high five and she fived me, and gave me a hug too. At this point I was trying to focus on keeping lucidity, because the way she was looking at me and the physical contact started to make me lose lucidity. I walked forwards on the court, closer to the net, and she turned around, smiling, and staring into my eyes. I didn’t want to have too much contact in my dream for two reasons, the DC was somebody I knew in real life, and I didn’t want to wake up from the LD. Once I saw the look on her face I walked in the opposite direction, and left the court. I started walking around the bottom of the pool observing the tiles on the walls and floors. I wanted to increase the vividness of my dream so I decided to open my dream eyes. This was really stupid of me because “Opening your Dream Eyes” is something I hardly know anything about, It was just something I heard about and that it can make dreams very vivid. Next time I'll just stick to rubbing my hands together. I tried to open my dream eyes and I saw myself in my bed with my leather jacket, and school bag on. But I then woke up at 12:02 PM.
