False Awakening
Awake Dream Lucid Semi-Lucid I had been trying to WILD for almost an hour, so I gave up and started sleeping on my side. I'm lying there trying to sleep, When all of a sudden, I start feeling weird sensations, so I think to myself: WILD!. I lay there and let myself drift off in to my dream while trying to maintain conciousness, and I succeed. I’m in the middle of what looks like an enormous prairie land. I immediately think to myself: Yes I’ve done it! Time to have fun! I leap into the air and start flying. It was AMAZING it felt so real, everything was so vivid and crystal clear. I felt the resistance of the air while going upwards too. As I start flying, the landscape shifts from this dull field, to some exotic place with many red rocks, and tall trees. The landscape is amazing, It reminded me of a video game, because often I couldn't look too far into the distance, because it wasn't there. I mostly had to look underneath me to observe the landscape. The grass is a very dark green, and there are orange mountains everywhere. Eventually, I start seeing giant monsters on the ground, and they look like they’re mad at me for flying around their land. I reach into my pocket and pull out grenades and start launching them while I'm flying. I kill them all and continue flying around the landscapes, and eventually the color starts changing. The orange mountains are now more of a creamy white, and it seems like the world is changing into minecraft. I start seeing black borders, so I land on the ground to yell out “MORE VIVIDNESS”. I don't remember hearing my voice, but everything did become clear into picture again, like I was staring straight into a painting. As I'm walking around thinking about what I should do in my dream, I decide that I wanted to listen to music (I now realize there were a lot more better things I could've done ) , so I reach into my pocket and try to pull out an iPod, just as I feel it and am about to pull it out, I fall into a lake and feel as if I’m going to start drowning. I realize that I can breathe, and everything becomes all good, and I levitate myself back onto the land. When I get out of the water I started hearing music, I have no idea what song it was, but it sounded like something epic that you would put in a movie trailer. I decide to pull out a red cape out of my back pocket. I put the cape on, and start flying again. Out of nowhere, come more trolls. I pull out an MP5 sub-machine gun from my pocket, and start killing the horde of trolls. While I’m shooting them, I’m flying around in the air and constantly dodging their rocks. Eventually the boss troll comes out. I land on the ground this time to face him. I’m standing about 20 feet from him. He’s this big ugly troll, maybe around 10 feet tall, and he has this giant wooden spiked bat. After this it gets blurry and I wake up in my parent’s bed. As soon As I wake up, I start thinking to myself, why would I wake up in my parent’s bed?. I sit up straight and ask my mom, “What am I doing here?” She tells me I should go to sleep. I start doing a reality check to count my fingers, and I could've sworn I had exactly ten. So I ask my Dad “Why am I sleeping in your bed?” and he replies “It seemed like it was getting too hot in your room so I carried you here.” I thought his answer was a bit strange, considering it’s the winter, and my room shouldn't be hot. (Maybe it was because I had too many blankets on and my subconscious was telling me.) At this point, I was so assured that I was in real life, So I lie back down and try to go sleep so I won’t be tired for school. When I'm lying down I feel a presence around me, so I try to keep my eyes closed because I'm thinking that I'm in a bad sleep paralysis. I keep trying to keep my eyes closed, but I feel a force and I just open them to see what it is. When I open my eyes and look around, I spot a nasty spider the size of a dinner plate on the floor, beside my bed looking at me. Its legs were orange with black accents, and it had this giant translucent butt with tiny blue baby spiders crawling around in it. My natural instinct is to kill it so I get out of my bed and hammer fist it. I kill it with one hit, and I gather up all the harmless baby blue spiders, and pour them into the sink. I wake up in my own bed. In which I blow through my nose and stare at my clock this time to assure I'm not dreaming.
