My dreams have a mythos/lore and it suprisingly makes a lot of sense...

Caution: large amount of side notes/rambling based off of a rather short dream. Be ready.
I was reading a Wikipedia page titled 'Hawaiian Spirituality' but right under it was a picture of a different island, not Hawaii. The island couldn't have been more than 10-15 miles across and had three, tall, jagged volcanic peaks. Only one of them, the shortest one was active though. The coast of the island had the typical rainforests with palm trees, and a tiny village opposite the volcano. I also recall seeing the picture was taken around sunset/sunrise.
There were at least a dozen lines of perfectly clear text beneath it. I recall the words being bold and very widely spaced, so they were pretty easy to read. The page talked about how the natives of the island worshiped two gods. One of the volcano and one of the sea.
The volcano god was portrayed as a giant magma golem with one eye who was the god of chaos and creation. He was the one who created the volcano that the island existed on.
The sea god was portrayed as a sea serpent who's breathing created the waves and when she swam in circles she would create typhoons. She was the god of slow, methodical destruction. She could also breathe out ice storms.
Neither god was viewed in a negative context because they were both destructive and helpful to the people. Without the sea, the people on the island who ate fish would starve. (The fish and the sea god were connected.) And without the volcano god, there would be no nutrients in the soil, and all the plants would die on the island, and the people that lived there couldn't build their houses or farm.
In fact, the gods were considered friends, even a married couple in the mythos. And the island and everyone on it was their child. They believed in a philosophy of balance because if the world was just a frigid sea no life could exist and if the world was just a molten wasteland, no life could exist. The world belonged in balance, and this was the ultimate message of the story; that great things can come from balance.
I then read of how the natives of the island believed that when someone was born, they were born with either a blue soul, a gift from the god of the sea, or an orange soul, a gift from the god of the volcano. This also determined what elements you could control. Orange souls could control magma, earth and fire. Blue souls could control ice, water and air. These were because the souls were 'fragments' of a god's soul and thus granted you a small amount of their power over these elements.
I continued reading, there was something about creating a 'soul wave', some kind of offensive maneuver that can damage/destroy one's soul, and manipulating the energy in one's own body, as well as others. It was talking about some kind of meditation they practiced. It was at this point that I became lucid, and realized that I was actually reading about Manei's culture. (After all it was shown before that she was a native of a tropical island, had blue eyes and could control water, so she fits into the lore of this place perfectly.)
I then wanted to figure out what my dream-self meant? Bicolored eyes? Do I have the powers of both gods? I couldn't find anything relevant on it, but then again, this was a 'Wikipedia' article.
One of the things I recall reading before waking was that you didn't necessarily have to be a member of the native population to be born with these powers. If you were born on the island you were given orange soul or blue soul.
I woke up around here.
