Lucid Dreaming Movie

I can recall the ending of some movie that I had seen, in a dream of course. The movie that I was watching involved a rag-tag team of lucid dreamers facing off against some sort of nightmare.
I can only recall the final part of the dream-movie. It involved this young girl, who was blonde with pigtails. She had been in conflict with her father for the entire movie because she did not follow her family's values and rather decided to focus on lucid dreaming. (So apparently, lucid dreaming wasn't allowed in the little girl's family)
The father and the little girl forgave each other for the arguments that they had throughout the "movie" and then the little girl took off with four other lucid dreamers. They started flying in a triangle formation (like birds or jet airplanes would.) They were flying over this city, though it looked like an industrial era city (like something from the 1850's or something) it had some really large skyscrapers.
The nightmare showed up. It was a giant (now I mean big, like 20 stories tall) jet black humanoid. It was sort of hunched over, with really big arms, and it's mouth looked like a shark's.
The monster would yell and this red energy beam would come out of it's mouth. (Think like Godzilla's energy breath, only red) The squadron of lucid dreamers avoided this, and began to launch their own attacks, from throwing buildings to shooting fireballs and making lightning strikes.
What I remember most clearly is that all of the lucid dreamers were combining their power to fight this thing. It was really inspiring.
This epic battle raged for awhile, and I cannot remember who actually won the fight. I think it ended with a false awakening.
I still can't get over this. Why did my non-lucid dreams suddenly get so interesting? They used to be painfully boring and repetitive. And now, this.
