Dream fragment: Life's too short

I'm talking to small Japanese guy who has somekind of disability, he starts to tell me how he wanted to have a smaller head to be more in proportion to his body - so he had an operation to shave a bit of his head off - (I can see this operation take place as he is explaining this to me) there was a problem with the procedure and a thin section of his brain gets shaved off causing permanent brain damage (well dur!)
