Kumara's Dream

I wasn't feeling well so I didn't attempt to lucid with WBTB

A love story shifts to ice skating and pole dancing

The dream was in black and white.
I was standing at a horseshoe-shaped bar, seemingly set in the 40's. I was standing at the outer part of the arch, watching two people take turns flipping pages out of separate books. Each book represented the story of a man and a woman who were in love. I heard a voice narrating the story. A 2nd man entered the story, and it went on and seemed as though the story would work out between all three, until the 2nd man left. Then the people at the bar got up and walked away.

I turned and a crowd of people were coming my way, led by the woman in the story whose hair and clothes were 40's fashion. The man from the story was to my right, he looked at her and made a remark about what I understood was the brand of ice skates she was wearing, he was surprised that she had them on. She was sparkling, and smiling at me, and I think I had ice skates on then, too, and was remembering how to ice skate, thinking I could do it to...and the floor was then ice and we skated a bit.

Then the scene changed and she was behind the bar and dancing like a stripper. I leaned over the bar and noticed some plastic cups with beer and soggy popcorn in them. I was thinking of serving the beer to people but decided it would be gross since the popcorn was in it.
