Your Hair is Falling Out

I was sitting on Joel and Kaitlin’s couch. Two people were sitting on the floor in front of me, facing the couch. The person closest to me was an elderly woman. Behind her, a younger woman – possibly Kaitlin – pulled back sections of hair.

“I’m not old,” the elderly woman argued.

“Yes, you are,” replied the woman behind her. “Your hair is falling out. You’ve got all these bald spots back here…”
