    1. Strangest Dream Yet: The Twins.

      by , 02-15-2011 at 04:39 AM
      Last night's dream was... Weird.

I know that's a silly thing to say about a dream, since they're all weird in their own right, but I find something about this dream unsettling.

The dream was processed over the course of an hour from 6:30 to 7:30. I remember playing a pokemon game. It was like a cross between Mystery Dungeon and one of the regular games... For some reason there were conflicts about it, but I can't remember over what specifically.

At some point, the antagonist came to play. There was no name for him. He was a hulking creature that wore a ski mask and overalls, but the rest of his body was pretty much black as the night sky.

Then I met up with my significant other. Or maybe he had been with me all along. We argue about pokemon a lot so the conflict could've been there...

But then we reached a place that looked like a combination of Walmart and an abandoned house I had explored the night prior (in real life).... And the antagonist was hanging out of the entrance to the attic... Which really wasn't attached to the building.

Standing at the registers of this place were two strange little people. I believe both were female and part bear, yet so short. They wore miners caps and overalls much like the generic looming figure.

Here's where it gets strange. I claim to recognize them from a paranormal magazine or video of some sort, where they had claimed they could enter anyone's dream from any place in the world. In a way, I realized I was dreaming... But didn't at the same time. In the dream, I was aware that it was a dream, yet I wasn't conscious of the fact.

Anyways, my significant other immediately interrupts and says something to the effect that should such a thing be fact it would falsify the existence of humanity or some such nonsense. It sounded like something he would say.

When he finally shuts up, the two start explaining that they're in my dream for a reason. To help me conquer the antagonist in the background who scares the shit out of me. Eventually it leads us up to the attic. At first, we see nothing... But then roaches start coming out of every crevice. Collapsing on the floor, I take hold of my boyfriend and hold him tightly. The bugs start to whirl around us in a twister-like manner, while a few of them hit us across the face. I remember feeling his warmth... Which is strange since I slept alone. The two yell at me, tell me that this is it. I needed to survive this and then everything would be okay.

I screamed... And my scream turned into my alarm. At that point, I woke up... Feeling cheated.
    2. Prostitution?

Once again, I only remember fragments, but the parts I remember seem like the most important.

(( To understand this part, you have to know that recently our family has been divided over my dog and how to deal with him. We just built a fence for him and everybody is conflicted as to whether that was a good idea or not ))

What I remember starts with a group of dogs walking up to my lawn very specifically, as if they were ready to call my place home. All of these dogs appeared well groomed and taken care of, and all had collars on them. Some of the collars looked tattered.

Only one of the dogs had a proper tag on it (what it said I can't remember), while the rest had those little keychain plastic photo frames, only they were landscape instead of portrait. In the frames were images of scenery, campsites, and I do believe one was a picture of their owner, a thin old man which one would immediately label as a hobo. In sharpie marker, the man had written on these frames little phrases as to why he had sent the dogs to me. "I could no longer keep them", "Freedom was more important", "it was time for change." Things like that, though I couldn't tell you the specifics.

My grandmother was, displeased to say the least. "We can't keep them. We can barely keep your dog, bla bla bla bla." So I told her we wouldn't keep them, we'd just hold them until we could find them better homes.

(( Today was my first day back to work, by the way ))
So it flips to a new day. I wake up for work and have to get the dogs food before I go in. I decide to stop at a quick mart in a gas station. It's old and decrepit, looks worn in by the people who continuously visit it. There's a very small diner attached. I spot the food, though I keep my eye open for a bigger bag...

For the life of me, I have no idea why I thought this was a good idea, but I decided to take my jacket off, and have no shirt on underneath. I don't think I actually realized that until I was topless, but instead of immediately putting it back on I try to play it cool and act as if nothing is wrong. Which works for a short time, until I walk by a policeman. He tells me to put my jacket back on, which I quickly comply. I hope to God he's just gonna let me off with a warning, but all the sudden another man behind me starts talking to him. While he doesn't look like it, I guess this man is a policeman too... And they start writing me a ticket for prostitution (lol, what?) I say 'really?' but that's all the fight I put up, if you can call it that. When he asks me why I did it, I make up an excuse and tell him "I thought I was dreaming" (Which I now realize I was, thank God.) And he replies: "this is no dream, young lady."

After I leave, I feel terrible. I realize all of this is probably going on my record and nothing will take it off. Moreover, this is the side of town my boss lives on, and there's a good chance he'd find out about it.

    3. Twisters and Murderers.

      by , 12-08-2010 at 05:59 PM
Here's what I do remember from last night's imaginary ventures:

      1. There were twisters... In a house. Apparently they were lethal enough to kill since everybody hid from them. Surprisingly it reminds me of one of the earliest memories I have. I saw little twisters flying all over my room and one of them had glasses and big bulging eyes. He spoke like the guy from unsolved mysteries and it made me scream (I believe this was from around age 2 or earlier, considering I was in a crib).

      2. Some of the people from my public speaking class were there, though I can't quite remember what they were doing.

      3. I met this mean woman. I believe she was my friend at first, but she ended up killing somebody and basically taking me as a secret hostage in her SUV. I remember this woman was distinctly African American, which is probably the first I imagined up. Either way, the police pulled us over and I discreetly managed to tell the elderly cop (also made up) that she had killed somebody and would probably kill me. He managed to arrest her and I was able to drive the vehicle... Somewhere. I guess it was home in my dream.

      4. And then I remember pink stuffed animals. No idea what significance they held or why they were there...

And that's it. Last time I had a hard time remembering the last part of my dream, and this time I can't recall how it started out. But at least I'm remembering them.
