Night of 9/23 - Stuck in a novel

Hello Yesterday I forgot to write my dreams down I just remembered one thing: I was explaining to someone how a fire-lighter works
But it doesn't matter: sh*t happens
Well today I dreamed about a novel which doesn't exist in reality.

I'm in a house. My dad is next to me and presents me a DC. Apparently, he (or she) is a relative. My dad says to me, I should explain to him what I'm studying and what I do in my free-time. As soon as I start to explain, I see that my dad makes an happy face and I've the feeling that he's proud of me. I don't remember if I told the DC about my studies, but I spoke about my novels which I write and which I try to get printed in book-form (In real-life I'm looking for a publisher without success). Suddenly I have a book in my hands and I'm "reading" from this book. Apparently, it's a novel that I wrote (but didn't in reality). I was reading a passage about a canalisation-system which is inside the house of the principal character. While reading I explore the building, the DC follows me. I was reading, but without looking at the pages, I had every sentence in my mind (in reality I know most of my works by heart). Everything I "read" was inside the house, everything I had in my mind was there! I saw the tunnel-system which was by the way very surrealistic. But I wasn't satisfied about my work, I saw that the DC looked bored and waited impatiently that I finished reading. While reading I tried to improvise to make the story better, but the opposite happened: the story got more and more boring and the DC more and more bored.
In addition I realized that the way the rooms were arranged and their locations weren't good at all ( the kitchen was on the opposite side of the dining room, the bathroom was next to the living room...) So I simply stop and talk about the first Indiana Jones film. I told him about some surprising facts about the film (which are true ): for example in the room were Indiana Jones looks for location of the lost ark, there are some hieroglyphs who show R2D2 (only visible in stop motion) and that it's impossible for Indie to use a RPG in 1930's because it's only invented in 1942) . The DC was really impressed by that.
    The End
