Lucid Dreams
(I become lucid in the 10th paragraph, not counting this one. I guess I should start doing that color-coding thing.) It's the 1960's and I'm part of the civil right's movement. There's a rivalry between me and woman who's got the stereotypical tan safari clothes on, and keeps trying to kill me, treating me as if I'm a rare animal to become a trophy. I keep encountering her, fighting her, and narrowly getting away, until one night, it's me and a whole bunch of other people in the civil rights movement (I think it might have been some kind of gathering or meeting) in a room, and the safari lady comes in and shuts the door, trapping us and herself. There's so many of us that we overpower her quickly, and we gravely consider killing her, because that's the only way we think she'll stop trying to kill us (I didn't even remember the police existed at this point - though I honestly don't know how much the police would have done for civil rights activists in the 60's). While we're holding her down, she smiles/grimaces at us, saying that we've won, and we should kill her, because otherwise, she won't stop until we're all dead. Three of us are holding her down and another one hits her hard on the temple, killing her. I'm basically weeping at this point. There is a long moment of solemnity and sadness felt by everyone in the room at this point. However, everyone slowly brightens, and decides to celebrate instead, because apparently this was a huge step in gaining equal rights. There's partying, and down the hall they're making hamburgers with a bunch of different crazy ingredients. Since I know food often makes me feel better, I go down there and check it out. There's one person standing at the only hamburger-making space available, making hamburgers for the two or three other people in the room. They request hamburgers with nutella, peanut butter, this stuff that is like strawberry-flavored nutella, and more. I pick out a reese's peanut butter cup brand peanut butter (which is sweeter than regular peanut butter) and some chocolate spread of the same brand. However, I can't really get the chef's attention, and I feel ignored and unwanted (feelings I struggle with in real life.) I trudge back to the party room and sit behind the couch. I sit there because I want to kind of "hide" behind the couch, you know? That's where I want to be while I sulk and feel bad about myself. However, I find that the floor is too uncomfortable. I get up and lie down at the edge of the couch with one leg up over the corner of the back of the couch. I'm not really upside-down, but I am in an awkward position. I fall asleep. In my dream-within-a-dream, I'm hanging out with Finn and Jake from Adventure Time. I don't really remember much, except that I can stretch (but not expand) like Jake, and whenever I consume certain items, I get bigger. My plan is to eat a whole bunch of these items, getting really big, and then squashing myself back to normal size. This way, I can "expand" like Jake whenever I want to (being limited by how big I can get myself from eating things). I'm having trouble finding anything I can actually eat. Finn comes over to say something to me, but right at that moment, I'm looking at a menu that projects from my forehead (like Pearl in Stephen Universe) and I see a button that says "descend from above" or something like that. I say, "hmm, what's this do?" and I press it before Finn can say anything. Objects start falling fast from the sky in blue streaks. I say, "oh, well, that makes sense." But they're hitting and hurting people (nothing serious), so I feel bad about it. I go to collect one, and it turns out that I can consume these (I don't say "eat" 'cause it wasn't really the same thing)! I pick up as many as I can, but it isn't much, and very soon the shower ends and the remaining grounded objects disappear. I have one more use left on the button, so I use it again. But this time, to collect them all and protect the people who got hurt by them last time, I stretch myself thin over the whole area, catching every single falling-star-thing. I'm satisfied. Finn comes next to me, and we're standing on a hill, alone, watching as the rest of my body catches the falling stars. Finn says, gently, "Hey man.. are you ok?" And I say just as gently, "Yeah.... Yeah, right now, I think I am." Then I wake up from my dream-within-a-dream back into my regular dream. It's light (when I fell asleep it was dark). I sit up. There are still a few stragglers left from the party, talking, eating their last bits of hamburger, and getting ready to leave. I get up and realize that the party was in my living room (though different from my real one save for the window and two couches). When it was dark, I didn't realize just where we were. I walk down a road downhill and I see this crazy-looking roller coaster. A guy who presumably works for whoever owns it enthusiastically comes over to me, tells me how amazing the ride is, then "shows me a video" of it in action. When he "shows me a video", what really happens is that my view is suddenly placed in an empty seat of the ride. As he describes the ride to be in false enthusiasm (the kind you hear in commercials, y'know?) I at first am only watching the view while standing where I was, but eventually, it feels like my body is actually on the ride. It kind of goes like this until I AM on the ride. I like roller coasters, but I don't like this one. It went so fast and hard that the weird corkscrews hurt my back, and we went upside down in violent ways that lasted too long that hurt my neck. I tried multiple methods of sitting in that seat, but no matter what, the coaster kept hurting me. Finally, it ended and we all got out. I noticed while on the ride that I seemed to be the only girl on the whole coaster. As we got out, guys were coming up to me and asking who I was, where I had come from, etc. Non-maliciously. They were just curious, since they had all come together and suddenly there was this stranger on the ride. I felt my usual stress and vulnerability as I was crowded by a bunch of older (early 20's) men, and I made my excuses and left. However, one of the guys followed me, because he wanted to talk to me some more. We go into a room and he says something (I don't remember what), and I respond in a male voice. I try to act normal, but inwardly, I'm so happy and relieved. I didn't really know I was in a dream, per se, but I knew enough that what was happening wasn't real in some way. I happily took on my role as a male, stress and fear melting away. It felt very nice to talk to a guy without worrying about the usual stuff. So I don't remember how it transitions, but I have this sentient object whose name I think was Sally. Sally can transform into different objects, but she rarely listens to me. I have her with me as I go to the entrance of this really fancy mansion with a closed gate. There is a tiny pond in front, outlined in rocks and surrounded then by a fancy driveway/walkway paved in shiny, smooth, white stone, the irregular shapes fitting together so you could hardly feel the cracks with your fingers. A butler passes by on the other side of the lake, leaving the mansion - I assume after a day's work. He glances into the pond and says, "oh, a turtle," and keeps walking. I, however, look into the pond, and say excitedly, "oh! A turtle!" It's a large (too large for a real one of its species, truthfully) musk turtle, and it's sitting just under the water on the rocks, so I lean over and grab it without getting very wet at all. I set it down on the pavement and look at it, and the butler guy briefly comes over and looks at it to, interested. There are some shenanigans with Sally that I don't really remember. She's a serious "person" and doesn't let me use her for much riffraff. At some point, me and I think the guy I met earlier, are at the door of my grandparent's house. We're there to visit my parents and grandparents because it's apparently "the holidays". It's not anything like their real door or house. However, the door has lights on it that spell out something about cutting hair or a barber shop, so I rationalize the differences by figuring that they just took the door from my grandpa's old barbershop and used it as their own. (This doesn't explain the house's differences, though my grandpa really did own a barbershop not long ago). For some reason that I don't remember, I voluntarily have Sally turn into a chain and choke me. I walk away from the door and explain to my friend that I'll be right back, but I obviously don't want my parents to see me while Sally is choking me. When she stops (I don't remember where she goes, but she's with me somehow), I go back to the door and we knock. We're quickly greeted by my grandparents, and we come in. The inside is very reminiscent of my other grandparents' home, but smaller. In real life, my other grandparents no longer own that home, but I don't find anything odd about it then. It's very nice and warm and all-around feel-good. I greet my grandparents, and I see my mom sitting on the couch with the dog/cat carrier we have next to her on the couch. I see our old dog running around excitedly on the ground. I greet and hug my mom, and I think about how sad it is to see the dog. I always end up seeing her alive in my dreams, and on special occasions like holidays we'll revive her, but she died a while ago, so it's very sad. I think that that doesn't sound right. I think, how do we revive her on special occasions? Wouldn't the body be quite broken down by now? Then I realize that we don't ever revive her on special occasions. She's really dead for good, and this is therefore a dream. I do a reality check (hold my nose and breathe in) just to make sure, and I'm correct. I stand up and face the wall, about to leave. My parents say something about how I shouldn't go yet because I just got there, and I say something like, "Sorry, no, this is a lucid dream, bye~!". I do a reality check as I'm leaping away through the wall, just to make sure it's a dream and I'm not really ditching my parents. It should be noted that when I was visiting them, it was as if I was in my early 20's and living alone, so I really was just "visiting". In reality, I'm in my teens, and I'm still living with them. I leap through this grey-white void with light snowfall around me, and I find myself on a city street, empty except for one dog. I don't remember exactly what happens, but the dog is sentient and if I recall correctly, it (he) recognizes me as another dog, and tells me to "come on". Obliging, I get on all fours and run after him. I'm pleased with my ability to do this since it's so hard in my dreams to shape my body into one that can actually run like a dog. I'm not quite perfect at it. My legs are still a little too long and I have to run on the tips of my fingers, and I can't go very fast. My dog friend (who seemed maybe like some kind of husky, iirc) told me to hurry up, and I told him that my legs were too long. Understanding, he and I go up to a building that specializes in plastic surgery for dogs. We go in and I explain that I need my legs shortened, my arms elongated, my fingers shortened, and the "pads" on both my hands and feet to be more pronounced, all so I could run better/feel more like an actual dog. The two workers there (who were also dogs - I don't remember one of the breeds, but one was a female poodle. The one I was talking to was a male - maybe a bulldog? He was kind of stuffy) talked to me about what I needed done, and my friend went ahead and requested some improvements too, but I don't remember what. He asked us our breeds, and my friend said "husky". I had kinda thought before that I felt sort of like a great dane (though I wasn't that big, iirc). So I was going to say that, then I remembered the heart problems great danes have in real life, so I didn't feel comfortable saying that. I thought huskies were cool since they were "closer to wolves", so I said, "half great dane.... half husky." The dog I was talking to seemed to accept that begrudgingly, with a sort of "sure, okay, whatever," air. (At some point as we're in there, another dog flies in w/ a helicopter type of contraption attatched to her back (like dogcopter from Steven Universe) and frantically says something about how she (or maybe it was one of her pups) NEEDS an operation NOW. I'm disappointed because I assume that'll take precedent instead of my own problems, but somehow I am still able to be immediately tended to. I think 1-3 of her pups might have flown in with her? I don't really remember much. The poodle that was working there was white-furred, and I think this was a black-furred poodle.) We go to downstairs to his desk, which is lit only by a single naked bulb swinging from the middle of the ceiling, and a small desk lamp. The basement is mostly storage, with a small area near the stairs cleared away of boxes to make room for the desk. He sits down and slides over something that's sort of like the ink pads you press stamps into (or now that I think about it, more like those pads you press your keys into to make a copy). It was dark-colored and just wide enough for what he asked us to do. He told us to give him the prints of all four of our paws. My friend did it first, but then it busted our enemy! I think it might have been the safari lady again. My friend fought her as I quickly made the prints for my paws. There was another print that my friend had made that I don't remember him asking for, and I tried a few times to replicate it, but I had a hard time (I think I got it the last time though, thankfully, since I didn't have any more room left the make prints). I then turned to fight her. We were both struggling, but then, the plastic surgeon dogs made their move! They somehow did it remotely. As I was fighting, I felt the skin of my legs pinch together as if they were invisibly marking where they were going to operate, and the same sort of thing happened with my other body parts that needed modified. Then, I felt my legs snap-crunch shorter, and my arms elongated in an abrupt fashion. I was getting better at maneuvering and fighting the lady, then. My fingers shortened, my pads got more pronounced. Whatever my friend asked for happened to him to. After that, we went from struggling to dominating, and we kept fighting, pressing our enemy back. It felt very cool. I think when my modifications were complete, I thought triumphantly and half-jokingly, "now.. I am a DOG!" Unfortunately, I didn't get to experience much more fun as a dog, because I woke up. However, right before I did, (and I knew I was waking up soon), I remembered about the task of the month. I very quickly grabbed a green rubber toy crocodile from one of the storage boxes and set it down on the ground. I assumed it was sentient, so it was. While it was looking away, I scratched it across the side of its snout, and then as it looked back, I pointed to my friend and said, "He did it!" He looked at me incredulously and said, "What??" I knew it wasn't much, but it would have to do. Then I woke up. I felt kind of "fuzzy", and I squinted into the warm, sunshine-colored room, not wanting to get up. ...And then I woke up for real, because apparently the first time was a false awakening. PS: Bulldogs aren't healthy breeds either, iirc. It's kind of odd to say that here but I feel like I should. At least english bulldogs aren't. I don't know much about the other kinds.

My friend and I are in the middle of this class tour of an old castle, and I have an app on my phone that tells me if a ghost is around. My friend and I sneak off from the group and go up to this small, dark, cobwebby room near the top of the castle. I pull out my phone and check the app, and it says that there is definitely a ghost nearby. I'm not really sure if I believe the app, so I call out. Nothing happens. My friend and I decide to go to sleep there, and maybe some activity will wake us up. The next morning, there is a framed painting lying on the floor. It shows my friend, asleep with her blanket covering her face and with a very large man sleeping on top of her, and it shows me, my back turned to the "camera", standing and facing a female figure with a very large head standing in a doorway bursting with warm light. I show this to my friend and tell her that it obviously means that I met the ghost that night, but she didn't because her face is covered in the painting, even though I can't remember meeting any ghost during the night. I expect her to be frustrated with me and say that I was being very liberal with my interpretation, but to my surprise, she seemed to accept my explanation. Later, I'm in a car, and I check my app to see if it acts differently in a setting which obviously doesn't have a ghost. It does, telling me there are no ghosts around. Later, I'm climbing a long, long ladder up a cave tunnel. There are two ghost/cave experts with me, one behind me on the latter and one on the floor of the cave looking up. They're both giving me instructions on how to climb the ladder as I struggle to do so. The cave floor is a long way down. Frustrated, I tell them that I've made this trip plenty of times before with no trouble at all, but now that I'm being watched by them, I'm suddenly finding it difficult. I know that we're going back to the room where my friend and I had detected the ghost before, and I don't notice that the previous castle setting as morphed into a cave setting. I remember a small fragment where at some point, the 10th Doctor and I are talking to a woman who seems to know quite a bit about the future, but won't let us in on anything. When she says she has to leave, we follow her and find that she's a human who's traveling with a time lord of her own. I wake up then. That was last night. I just took a nap and so... I dream that Red Vs. Blue, the machinima, is a sort of visual novel-type video game (different from the halo game lol). I'm at the counter of a store and I'm trying to talk to Tucker about something I want to buy, but he's too busy talking to Caboose, who is actually just Charlie Day wrapped in a dark blue blanket. Caboose is intently mimicking everything Tucker says and does, because here, he thinks Tucker is his best friend instead of Church. At some point, I'm in a maze made out of that type of wire fence that has the diamonds in it? And I see an animated puppy who looks upset and in pain, and then I go a little further and see the same thing but as a full grown dog. It's a dead-end though, so I turn back. When I do, I find myself being gassed by some sort of sleeping gas. Rarity from My Little Pony comes into view and says she's sorry, but she has to do this. I can see the other ponies in the background. I struggle to move around until I fall to the ground, looking up at them as I fall asleep.. Later, Russia and Ukraine are launching a joint attack on the US. Left and right, I hear of people dying. I move to go downstairs, but I get a text from my mom saying, "don't worry, it's just a B2" (which is a type of bomber airplaine). Just a B2? I think, then i hear a loud plane noise from overhead. For some reason, because of these things, I abandon the basement and instead search for higher ground. Eventually, I do find higher ground. There's a skyscraper near the place where I was talking to Tucker earlier. In one of the top-most floors, there's an arcade. I play a 16-bit arcade game about an anthropomorphic rabbit and his friend, whose species I can't remember. At some point I get a powerup that turns my character into a frog. I meet a lot of species along my adventure, and I'm having fun, when suddenly the game shuts down, and someone hauls the game away, as they tell me that it's being relocated to be shot at in a paintball game. I'm fairly mad about this. My friend, C, arrives and asks about the game, and I tell her the news. "Aw," she says. We turn to see that the wall facing the outside is gone, and instead we can walk right out of the building and jump into this small pool that is filled to the brim, so you can go right to the edge and look over it to the ground, far below. My mom is in the pool, relaxing on a floatie. I try to tell my friend about the Russia/Ukraine attack, but she acts very somber and says something like, "Please, I really don't want to hear about that." I understand. There is a pool on the ground that is right beside ours, and my friend, to my objections, jumps from our pool all the way down into the pool on the ground. I thought she would then go into the building and take an elevator back up, but instead she climbs up the side of our pool, which now has thick cloth in a woven pattern down the sides. I scold her for being dangerous and doing such a thing. She shrugs lightheartedly. After that, things get stressful. I can only swim around the middle of the small pool, because if I go to the edges, I have a danger of falling off. I have to be very careful because I also have to prevent my mom's floatie from going over the edge. For some reason, getting out isn't an option until later. Later, a little girl climbs up the side. I am surprised/stressed/panicked that Chelsea had caused this little girl to follow in her footsteps and do something so dangerous. I yell at the girl and she takes no head of me, and my mom does and my friend does, but to no avail. I tell them that we should all shout the same thing at the same time. It works, and the girl looks at us with a sad face and says a quiet "sorry". I then soften and tell her that we're sorry for being harsh, and to please be very careful when going back down. She gives a soft smile back and thanks us for our concern. Lastly, I'm standing in a room with my mom and her friend. They're telling me to do something that I strongly don't want to do, and I think I might have found it a bit morally wrong as well. Thinking that this can't possibly be real, or at least hoping that it's not, I do a reality check, and find myself to be dreaming. I think back to a post from here about how to maintain the dream/lucidity, and I remember that one of the things someone said to do was to NOT be afraid of waking up. Of course, thinking about waking up did not help things. I tried to focus on the dream and to stay in it, but I woke up fairly soon.
Unfortunately this dream was the night before the night before last night, and I'm just now writing it down, so I'm heavily depending on the little keywords I'd written that morning… I'm in the woods behind my house and I see a little hole in the ground by a tree trunk. I crouch down and look into the hole and I see many snakes of different species inside, some moving slowly. I get very excited. A hibernation den! Now I can visit snakes even in the cold months and I'll have them all to myself! I don't reach in to hold any, though, because I don't know if that would be harmful for them to come out in such cold weather. ((The day before I was reading a reptiles/amphibians book of Indiana and it talked about snake hibernation dens, and I hoped that I could find one. So that's where that came from.)) So I walk away from the den and I find another, much smaller one, where I can only see one or two thick, rough-scaled green snakes, like emerald tree boas, though I don't remember if they had pits. As I crouch there near it, a wet, tiny one comes out, and I realize that it's actually some sort of hatchery/nursery. A big one comes out right after, and I'm afraid to move, because I'm afraid that the bigger snake will attack me since it would want to protect its young if it saw me as a threat ((for the record, in the waking world, I know that that's not how it works with snakes)). I move a little bit, and the bigger snake freezes and draws his head in a little, while the baby retreats back into the den. Hesitantly, I stand up to walk away, and the bigger one also goes back into the den. I am relieved. At some other point, I'm in the living room and I jump up and bend my elbows so that my hands are near my shoulders, and I flap my hands quickly. This causes me to hover, or difficultly fly a bit. I fly around the living room a bit, but that's all I remember from that scene. I think my grandmother might have been there at some point. At some other time, I'm walking down the street to get to "the end of town", which were the directions which we had given to someone else. The end of town was apparently barren except for a few people living in poverty, with lots of dirt/mud smeared on the road and sidewalk. My Mom was ranting about how we had told someone to go to "the end of town" but we didn't tell them which end to go to, and now they had gone to this one, and now they won't want to go to the right "end of town". After this, we're walking back and a news man comes to interview me, holding both the microphone and the camera. He asks something that I don't remember, and I hop along while flapping my hands so the hops are big and drawn-out, like I'm on the moon or something. I say something sarcastic to him and refuse to answer his questions seriously. At some other point, I'm standing in a room with a model wooden ship and a man. Out of habit, I do a reality check, and realize that I'm actually dreaming. Remembering the task of the month, I look at the man and say, "who's my soul mate?" He hesitates for a moment, and, disappointed, I think that he won't answer. Then he looks at me and says, "you should sell all your plates." I'm amused, and I don't ask him further. I walk past him to examine the model ship, reminding myself that Im' lucid. However, next, something happens which I don't quite remember, which is so interesting and engrossing that I forget to remind myself that I'm lucid, and I fall back into a regular dream. At some other point, I go downstairs in this house to find three rooms: a bedroom with a desk, a living/game room with a couch and a TV, and another room with more games and another bed. The living room/game room are connected with different carpet, but no walls or doors. The first bedroom is closed off with a door. Inside the bedroom I find a snake, rough-scaled, with dark green and blue stripes. He's hanging from a stand that you'd give a parrot to perch on. I pick him up and say, "aww" and "you're such a baby" and the like. However, next, I have to put the snake back because my mom calls down from the stairs and says that she's about to show some people around the house, and if I don't lock every door and window before they get to the basement, then she will proceed to show them around, even though I am naked. I frantically go to lock and close doors and windows, and there are suddenly more doors and rooms than there used to be. I managed to lock nearly all the doors, but there is one room that I don't get to in time, so I have to go close the door and lock it while my parents and their friends are in the room. They all stare at me awkwardly while I go in, naked, to close the door. Later, I've locked every door, and, I thought, every window, but my mom leans in through the top of a window to say that I hadn't locked the upper third of that window, because apparently that window folds open and closed and requires three locks. At some other point, I'm flying through a jungle in the treetops, flying the same way as before. I see some cool snakes, and I get scared by some creepy bugs, and I'm trying to get over the tops of the trees, and at the very top of the trees I find some dopey, fat caterpillars with yellow underbellies and green(?) tops, and they cheer when I go past them above the trees, and they rejoice, saying something like, "finally! a person who's as pathetic as us! Friend!" At some other point, I'm standing on the top of a tall building, with another man in front of me. Out of habit, I do a reality check, and, again, realize that I'm lucid. Since the last time was sort of unsatisfactory, I ask again who my soul mate is. The man, the only one in the vicinity, looks at me and says, "that guy" without pointing or otherwise indicating who "that guy" might be. Giving up, I jump off the building and try to fly just by thinking about it, but it isn't working, so I flap my arms (my whole arm, like a bird, not just the hands, as it had been when I wasn't lucid) and go higher and higher, and I try to shape shift into an eagle or something, but it isn't really working, and either I fall back into a regular, non-lucid dream, or I wake up. I can't remember.
So this is quite a while after I dreamed these, so I don't remember much now.. From my dreams last night, all I can remember is that I met or at least saw a celebrity, but I can't remember who it was. Then I saw the 11th Doctor from Doctor Who walking (running?) down the street, and I was excited to see him and all, so I ran after him while shouting his name, but I couldn't catch up to him, and I lost him. Then, later, I'm in a museum and Stephen Merchant walks into the room. I say to my friend more loudly than I mean to, "holy crap! that's the third celebrity I've seen today!" or something like that. He hears me and turns around, and my friend and I go up to him and ask for his autograph. She only has a piece of paper for his autograph, but nothing for him to put the paper on so he can write on it, so somehow this means she has to write on it, and she puts the paper on his chest so she has a surface to write on. Fortunately I have my notebook with me, and I pull it out, but somehow I don't get his autograph and my friend and I both walk away. I'm in turmoil that I met or saw three of my favorite celebrities that day but was not able to get an autograph from any of them. And these are from a nap I had today: I'm talking to someone that I can't see. They might be on the phone, or maybe they're beside me and I just don't look their way. I'm flying, either with magic or i'm holding balloons or something, but I can control how high or how low I am. There is a captive tiger below me, and I'm taunting it with my feet. It keeps jumping up to bite me, but I'm just out of its reach. Later, I'm on the porch in my backyard, and the tiger is there, but this time it's either green or purple (maybe it was switching), and also the tiger is nice because it's actually just the woman from Paperman trapped in the body of a tiger, and my parents are there, and the man from paperman is there, but he's got the same type of body/he's the same type of monster as someone on Tumblr's creation (centiwheats, for those who care). My parents and I are arguing about sitting in chairs or something like that, because I'm arguing that we shouldn't all sit in chairs or drive cars or anything like that because it would leave out the guy from Paperman, who can't sit in chairs (apparently I hadn't considered that the girl couldn't, either.) Later, I'm not sure if I dreamed this or if it was mostly hypnagogic sensations, I think I was fading in and out, but I was on some racetrack, and all the cars were white with a red stripe, like Turbo from Wreck-It Ralph. I think I'm racing with people I know, but I don't know if it's family and friends or characters from fandoms. Later, I wake up and then do a WILD, and while I am sinking into sleep paralysis, there are some voices that are having a conversation in my left ear only, and they get louder as I get farther into sleep paralysis, until they fade when I actually get into the dream. It took me a while to go into the dream, and then I opened my eyes in the dream, and looked around for a moment. I already had a plan in mind, but I wasn't very good at dream control, so I was planning on calling over my "magical assistant" and asking her to please manipulate the dream the way I wanted her to. However, I could only stand up out of my car and call for her once or twice before I woke up. At some point, I'm in my backyard and there's a massive, massive wall that is supposed to look like an iPod in an iPod dock with speakers in it.
So the earliest I can remember besides small fragments is trying to get donuts at a donut shop for the second basic monthly dream goal. I wanted to take the donuts to some characters from a TV show (Supernatural) that I was planning on hanging out with so we could all have donuts together. I told the guy behind the counter that I wanted "Four of everything" and he laughed and wouldn't give me any donuts, because that was way too much. Then he left and I had to put the donuts into the box myself, and left without paying. Then, I tried to teleport to the people I was planning on meeting, but just as I was getting halfway into their room, it was like some force drove me away, and I ended up a floor above them in a hallway (they were staying at a two-story motel). I wasn't really sure how to get back to them so I release this ball of light from my hands and tell it to lead me to them. It goes pretty fast, though, and as I try to follow it, I lose it or the dream changes or something. All I remember is that I never make it to the people I was supposed to meet and I never got to taste my donuts. At some point I'm Bilbo Baggins and the dwarves and I have just defeated Smaug, so in celebration we slide down this big hill/small mountain thing and splash into the small pond below it, like a medieval water slide. I don't remember Gandalf being around. At some point I stop being bilbo and become a dwarf, but I don't remember who. Bored, I go west and explore some of the mountains, while suddenly the dream becomes 16-bit and third-person. I find this entrance to a cave that is blocked off, like in pokemon. I think I need a pokemon with Strength or Rock Smash or something like that to get through it, but when i walk up to it, for some reason I'm able to enter anyway. There I find a pokemon standing in a room. It's little sprite looked a bit like Giratina or Groudon. When I went up to it and talked to it, I find it's called The King, and is level 127 (or 177, I can't remember - although I'm pretty sure it was the former). It's bigger, more detailed sprite shows a a groudon-like body that is slimmer than groudon, with a regular lizard tail and lizard head, with those three yellow rib-things that Giratina has. In it's left hand, it's holding a smaller grey lizard. I think he's the king - of lizards. None of my pokemon were very high level, and I couldn't capture it. Even when I took away a good half of it's health, when it seemed to regain health by defeating my pokemon. Once I was defeated, I ran back to the little pond and told bilbo about it, because since I was him earlier, he has all the powerful pokemon that I do in real life, and he could capture The King. At some point my parents are in this small room with me lecturing me about something, but that was when I had just recently become lucid, so instead of paying attention to them, I'm looking around me and trying to make the dream as clear as possible. All I remember is that the walls were a light brown and I was looking at something metal and black. There was also something about someone or something that lived in a swamp and it was going through a rough time, so my friend was there to try and help it. I came because I was bored. I don't really remember what happened, but there were rotten fruit lying around as floating, 2-dimensional objects like you see in minecraft.

I'm writing this hours after I woke up, so I don't remember too much, but The earliest I can remember is when I'm already lucid and I'm standing in a hotel room with Cas, Sam and Dean. Cas is wearing clothes that are different from usual because he had recently gone undercover to find out some information (or something like that). I had already planned on traveling with The Doctor in a lucid dream, so I decided that I would go to the TARDIS and go ahead and bring along Team Free Will. I first ask Cas to change back to his regular clothes, and suddenly the clothes he was wearing are replaced with the usual. I'm impressed at that - I'm not very good at dream control, so I figured I'd have to turn around or something for it to happen. I reach toward the wall and make the motions of opening a door, which materializes a door as if it'd been there the whole time. However, instead of taking me to the TARDIS like I was expecting, I saw the room from behind, as if it was just a portal to the other side of the room. Not yet ready to give up with this method, I might have tried once more before going to the center of the floor with the three guys standing around me and watching, and I crouched down and opened a trap door the same way, which had the same effect - i was seeing the room from the ceiling. I decided to go with another way of teleportation I knew about, and asked Dean to show me where the restrooms were, intending to go through the mirror. However, I realized as I followed him that there was only about half the usual amount of gravity, and I got distracted with that until I woke up. In another dream that night, Sam and Dean were trapped in different universes, but could still hear each other talk (I think it was because they were in the same room, just split by universes and not space.) In the universe Sam was in, everything was mostly the same except that everyone was a video game character, including him. He was Wreck-It Ralph (which sort of counts - he's from a fictional video game, after all). Although I think he may have been a sort of young Wreck-It Ralph (which would make sense, since I'd been looking at some drawings yesterday of Ralph and Venelope with switched ages). They decided that to get to each other/the same universe, they should jump through the same window at the same time (they're not on the first floor). Before they do, something happens, but I don't remember what. Somehow Sam/Ralph get's trapped holding onto a floating log in the middle of a brown river. At some point, I'm Chell from Portal 2, doing something like expecting a Hotel room or a whole Hotel, which was brighter and cleaner than the hotel that Sam, Dean, and Cas were in. I'm not sure if I was ever not lucid for any of this, but I'll check the box, because I'm not sure.
So I was sort of half-lucid, and I wanted to mess around, have fun, and be a dinosaur. (I think I got the inspiration from earlier in the dream when I saw the skeleton of a T-Rex in some guy's room. Underneath that, there was a hole in the floor that revealed a huge chamber with a huge pterodactyl skeleton. Apparently it was the scene of some boss fight that i'd been to earlier, but I don't remember that, only me reminiscing about it.) I'm in a weird version of my dining room and I'm trying to become a Tyranisaurus Rex but nothing is really happening. I try putting my hands on the back of either shoulder and pushing my arms forward to the front of me like a T-Rex's arms are, but nothing really happens. My dad (and brother?) are in the room and my dad says that transformation in dreams is impossible (I might have told him something like "no it's not"). To summon a character that I write about in real life, I expected her to be in the living room, and then I turn towards the living room and she is there. Her hair is different, though, and I could hardly see her face, but I know she was smiling at me. I call her to me and ask to her to turn me into a t-rex, starting with putting my arms in front of me like they are on the real dinosaur. First she makes me spread my legs wide apart and I go, "oooh yeah, that's right", because apparently T-rexes have a very wide stance. Then she tries to move my arms forward, and it sort of works, but for the most part it's more like she's bending me than moving just the arms. Then she leaves for some reason and my shoulders sort of creep back into place. I spend the rest of that dream trying and failing to become a dinosaur and put my arms in place. Later, I'm no longer lucid and I'm with this police officer and he's checking to make sure that my friends and I all have 20 sketches in our sketchbooks (It's kind of been haunting me that 20 sketches are due in my art class in real life). My friends have already been checked and they're standing to the left quite a ways away, and I'm still tearing out sketches from my sketchbook and giving them to the police officer to check (more like putting them on the table in front of him, in a pile). I start laughing as I see and remember about four drawings of the same character in the same pose that I was drawing from a reference that I just couldn't get right. My friends ask what I'm laughing at and I say that I'll need to show them these sketches when I'm done with the police officer. They all look humorously bad (it was Conan from Detective Conan/Cased Closed). I also see some other artwork that I'm surprised I drew, since it was so good. There was a Kaito from Magic Kaito (and Detective Conan/Case Closed, more recognizable as Kaito KID) and there was a drawing of Double D from Ed, Edd, and Eddy with a female purple character that I can't remember. I think it might have been in the same dream when a school bus pulled up in front of me. I realized that it was my bus, and I hurriedly stuff some papers (the sketches?) into my backpack and slung it on, then there was another, smaller backpack that I had to sling on, and then just as I headed for the door, it started driving away, and I yelled, "HEY! HEY!" and ran after the bus with my hand on the still-open door, but it drove away without me. A teacher there said that it was alright, and that next week I would be assigned to a different bus that I wouldn't miss. I, however, was very angry that the bus left without me when surely the driver could see me or at least my hand. I was walking back to the school with that teacher, my friends, and a bunch of other students, now. The ground was dark and wet, but in my frustration I slammed both backpacks onto the ground (and then put them back on). The teacher scolded me, because who knew if a kid had thrown up there or something, and now I could get myself and everyone around me sick! I scoffed, too frustrated to listen to her. Later, school has just gotten out. The ceiling has this wavy pattern on it that it doesn't has in real life, and I'm in a hallway walking towards the big main room of my school, toward the buses. Suddenly, when I get near the end of the hallway, a bit of the ceiling slams down right in front of the doors, creating an impassible, stone, wavy wall. Everyone screams and runs the opposite direction to find that the same has happened to the other end of the hallway. Then, the ceiling starts coming down slowly. I take off my backpacks and throw myself to the ground, right under a trough in the waves. It's a tight squeeze, but when the ceiling touches the ground, I survive. It seems that everyone else had the same idea, because when the ceiling rose, everyone was still alive. Many were smiling and laughing, and I was relieved too, but I was shaken, and I ran ahead of my friend to get out of the hallway. Later, I'm waiting to order and be seated at a fairly nice restaurant with my friend. She is holding this chocolate ball with a different kind of sweets inside it. I ask her how it works, and she tells me that we both (, taking turns?, ) smash it with our fist(s?) and whoever has the most chocolate on their hand(s?) is the winner, and gets to eat the rest of the ball. My friend or her family alerts me of something that takes me away from the group, and when I go back to them, they are seated and have their food in front of them. My grandma (who is apparently now my friend's family and not mine) tells me to try her food, which is a baked potato with the usual stuff, but also drenched in syrup. It tastes okay. The waiter comes by repeatedly but never asks if I'd like to have anything or if I'd like to order, and I'm not courageous enough to ask for a menu or anything myself. I'm very angry that everyone ordered their food without me, when they wouldn't have had to wait very long for me to get back.
I don't really remember my first set of dreams much since when I woke up, I went straight into some others, but... A lot of it was an FPS, but I don't remember much except that I was using an assault rifle from Halo, and as soon as I complained about wanted a battle rifle, I found one on the ground. I then laughed and said, "ask and you shall receive!" or "speak of the devil!" or something like that. Later, I'm walking down this hill that I had gone down before when I was on a hunting trip with Arthur from Merlin. I wasn't Merlin, but I had the same job. I was trying to collect the grouse that he had shot, but I was finding them really gross since they were dead and had been for a while, and was having a lot of trouble even picking them up. In my next dream, I entered it with a WILD straight into my kitchen, where my Mom was standing in the room and my brother was sitting at the bar. I walked around the island and stood at the other side of the bar from my brother, looking around. My vision was getting pretty annoying. My brother said something but I shushed him and said that I wanted to focus on becoming more clear/lucid. I looked at my hands, but they seemed tiny and far away. I focused on making them seem closer and more realistic for a little bit, and it was working a little, but then I decided to work on my surroundings instead. For some reason when I looked at things from a certain angle, I wasn't able to see below my glasses, like when a game glitches. I was really annoyed by it, but I didn't even think to just take off my glasses.
I'm writing this hours after I woke up, so I don't remember too much anymore. I'm supposedly playing Portal, but in reality it's more like the moon base level of Killing Floor (minus the monsters). I get really excited when I see that other people are in the server with me, because I didn't remember Portal being a multiplayer game. The people in the server assume that I've gotten into the Portal series late, when really it's just been a long time. We keep having these mini "liftoffs" where we hold onto a handle and we are thrown into the air a little bit, and then there's zero gravity. Someone gives me the "Portal movie" and I put it into the DVD player. On a very large flatscreen TV (a little smaller than one at the movies, maybe), is a 2D animated movie about Chell. Now that I look back on it, even though it was supposed to be about Portal, she had her jumpsuit tied around her waist like Portal 2. It was a great movie and it was really funny, even though at some parts it didn't really have to do with Chell or Portal at all. I was really excited that there was a good movie about my favorite game series. Later, I'm at this big grocery store where they have a mind-boggling amount of ice cream flavors, popsicle flavors, ice cream pop flavors, sundays, etc. There was also this small conveyor belt that you would sit on and you would grab office supplies off these little shelves as you rode along, and then when you got to the end of the belt, you payed and got off. I rode on it, but just to ride on it and not because I wanted office supplies. At the end, I felt embarrassed about it, so I told the cashier that I wanted those thin sticky notes. However, the ones I could find were pretty crappy quality. Later, I can't get my friends to watch the Portal movie. Finally, they come in while I'm re-watching it, but they happen to come in during one of the parts that has nothing to do with Chell or Portal, so I become frustrated. At some point my parents are playing Yume Nikki hooked up to our TV because apparently it's now a console game. They know I love it so they wanted to try it out. They had only been playing it for a few minutes, but they weren't sure what to do at that point. I took the X-Box 360 controller from my mother and explained, while playing the game, that they would probably think it was actually fairly boring, since virtually all of it is just walking around and looking at things. At some point, I'm lucid for a bit. I walk around and observe that everything is frustratingly fuzzy, but I forget to try to make anything more clear. I start flying for a bit over a bus that is driving down the road under me, and then I wake up(?).
First I had a nightmare that my dad killed the dog with a shotgun and then was going to kill my cat, and my mom was trying to kill herself with a pistol but I kept stopping her. I woke up and fell asleep and had another dream that I'm this loser guy on a bike and I find this ticket or eraser or something like that which is the only thing left of a little girl who is looking for her daddy, so I put the object in my pocket and swear that I'll find her Daddy for her. Later, I'm in this office building that has a skate park outside and at first I was using the skate park, then I was trying to hide from this one very angry businessman because the walls of the building are see-through, then when I was in the building, the guy orders me to turn on something because he thinks that I work there. I don't know what he told me to turn on though, so I just go in the direction he points and look for something to turn on. I find myself in a classroom with some students, so I leave there. Then, I find myself in this big medieval-like chamber with a handful of people all forcing a wide half-circle around a human!GLaDOS from Portal, who is giving them orders. Apparently the rival company has stolen something from us, I can't remember if it was an object or a person. GLaDOS selects me to go back and get it, so I walk out the heavy wooden double doors and down the hall which is now also medieval-castle-looking. I feel cool to be doing something like this. Then, GLaDOS sends a bunch of other people down the hall too and I don't feel as cool knowing that I'm working as part of a crowd. Later, I'm on my journey with my small group of about 4 other people, and one of them tells me that the rest were sent to do other things that will slow down, hinder, or distract the rival company, but we are the ones who will get the thing back from them. Matt Smith (as the doctor? as John Smith?) is one of my companions. We are camped out on the side of the road, similar to a place I know in real life. A cart belonging to the rival company passes by us, and they steal my glasses and one of my companions. A companion that wasn't stolen shouts, "they stole the kid Wheatley!" and I think Nymph from the Portal fandom might have been with us, but that was the first time I realized it. I see a white blur which is presumably Nymph in the cart as it leaves us. At this point I am a little bit lucid, because I go back to our vehicle thing and materialize some contacts and try to put them in (but I can't - I'm really bad with putting in and taking out contacts, that's why I don't wear them). But then, the Doctor comes up to me angrily and accuses me of working for the rival company, because I never wear my contacts or go anywhere with them, but today I brought them because I knew that the other cart would steal my glasses. I don't have any real way to refute that. There may have been a chunk that I've forgotten, but later, I'm maybe half-way lucid and I tell my group to follow me. Along the way I practice manipulating things around me. When they all get to this drive-way thing with trees around it that I was leading them to, I start waving my hand back and forth straight through a thick tree branch, and explain to the Doctor that all of our companions besides him weren't real. They evaporate when he realizes this. Then I call him "Matt Smith" to see if there's any reaction, but he's too busy focusing on the fact that his companions that he cared about weren't real. Then I possess a tree because I want to see what it feels like to be a tree, but I can't get myself to and I'm disappointed when I still feel like a slightly stretched-out version of myself. Presumably all Matt sees when he looks at me at that point is the tree, judging by the way he looks at me at that point, but he saw me fly into it to possess it, so his eyes are searching the tree when he asks me a question that is very important to him, I think he might have asked me, "am I real?" but I cannot remember for sure. Whatever the question was, when I came out of the tree and told him yes, he was so happy that he grabbed the sides of my head and kissed me multiple times. I was very happy for him. Then we were teleported to the Ellen DeGeneres show where there were two rows of teenage girls on thin pillows, facing each other, bent over with their face and torso facing the ground in the adamantine pose. At the end of the row of girls was a throne-like chair that Ellen was sitting on. We were in the middle of the row of girls, about a girl or two away from Ellen's throne. Presumably, we were her next guests? One of the girls looked up and made an angry face at us. I wasn't really sure what was going on, but I was still so happy for Matt that I sneaked a quick kiss with him again before I woke up.
