    Fighting a Corrupt Government

First I had a dream that Sam from Supernatural was a merman. Then I woke up, moved to a different bed, and went back to sleep.

Had a dream that a corrupt government was taking over. Since I was part of some kind of committee for the government, I was able to try and change it for the better as much as I could, along with my friend who was in the same situation. However, this required us to each write an essay, and after a paragraph, we both got writer's block, and couldn't complete it. Later, my friend and I plus another committee member who felt the same were all on this big floating structure that we called a planet, though it wasn't. My friend put bombs all over it and when she detonated them, we rode the explosion over to a nearby planet. Later, I'm on another planet as Arthur from Merlin, and I'm walking around a field of corn, and I come upon a house and a giant husk of corn lying on its side. If I remember correctly, I'm seeing most of it from a first person view, but I'm not actually in control of the actions. Arthur walks around, picking off a couple kernels of corn and popping them into his mouth, and makes deductions of the people who live in the house by the things he sees like Sherlock Holmes. The people come out of the house and angrily drive him away.

Later, I'm in a dream that keeps switching between first and third person. There are two slugs on a whole planet full of sentient slugs, and the corrupt government is back again. On giant screens is the one in charge, a religious leader who is completely changing the christian faith to his own desires, and almost everyone on the planet calls themselves a Christian and follows him. The two slugs are not followers, and so they're on the run from the police. They hide on top of a tall building, where there is an entrance that is nothing but a squishy hole in the roof, because apparently that's an entrance for a slug. One of them tries to go down into the building to hide, but he comes back up after going halfway through the hole because he discovers that the building is a middle school, and the hole is only large enough for middle school-age slugs, but too small for an adult. The other slug urges him on, reminding him of how good he is at squeezing through small holes. The other slug tries again, squeezes through all the way, and is crushed to death.

Later, I'm me, and I'm exploring this big living complex thing in the future. Everything is white and clean, and I'm on the first floor, which is like a grocery store. The corrupt religious leader is fully in power, although I don't mind much since I'm not from this time, and as soon as I'm done looking around, I can go back to the past before anything bad happens to me. I look around the different sections of the store - I visit one labeled on the wall as "Miel" which is "honey" in French. There are many different types of honey products, including shampoo. I leave this to go to the candy section, and grab a bunch of different stuff - chocolate with peanut butter, chocolate with M&M's, and fruit candy. However, I realize that the packet of crayons I have in my pocket is not currency, as I'd been confused about earlier. (Earlier I also gave a grey crayon to a cashier to check to see if it would work, but then I walked away before I was able to see the results.) Since I was in the future and I would have no repercussions for my actions, I decided, oh well, I'll just steal them. As I walked by the check-out lines, the lady with my grey crayon was asking whose crayon it was, and I hurriedly walked past to avoid interaction.

I found an elevator (I hadn't previously known that the floor I was on wasn't the only one) and went to the top floor. It was some sort of museum exhibition-type-thing. I waited for a bit, and the elevator went to the right, and I discovered that once you go to a floor, if you wait, the elevator will cycle through different parts of the floor for you to get off at. I wasn't interested in any of the museum pieces, which were mostly art-related things, if I remember correctly. I went to the second floor, and I found a place about frogs and slugs, so I excitedly got off there. As I looked at a giant dark brownish statue of two slugs on a branch and read about their biology, I rooted through the candy I bought to decide which one to eat first. I pulled up from my pocket a dead frog encased in chocolate, and I thought, ew, I don't want to eat a frog, I wonder why I bought that. However, I now believe that I never actually bought it in the first place.
