Second day of night shifts.

I'm looking through some saddle baggs. Then I'm on a bicycle, riding up the hill on a deserted street, that has sand blown on it. In some places it's deeper than the others.

I something dark ahead of me and when I get closer I see the tail of a black snake. I keep riding and now I'm noticing more signs of snakes that had slithered that way accross the street. The classic snake shapes in the sand.

I get off to take a look at that first snake. I want to take a picture but I remember taking it out of my saddle bag. So I take his pic with my phone.

It's long, black and it has a mane like a comodo dragon. It goes near two guys who are sitting on the street around a campfire. I asked them if they saw that cool snake, but they didn't. They go look and start chasing him and the snake is now coming towards me. I know he can go fast. I get on a bike but it's not easy going in the sand. I know if the snake wanted to, he could go faster and reach me.
