Very strange night -- woke at about 2 hrs with a quite vivid, generally coherent dream. But I couldn't go back to sleep after this, and ended up getting up for about 4-5 hours, then falling asleep exhausted, and having some decent dreams, sleeping for about 4 more hours

+ music, interview? I'm reading sheet music at a desk across from one person, I'm quite confident I can play this. I'm wondering what cleffs they will give me to read, I can read generally all of them so I'm not worried. I look the music on the lower right corner of the right-hand page of the open notes and I see bar-long whole-notes of slurs from the mid-range up to the high-range, I think it goes very fast and I recognize the melody as a famous piece, I know this will be hard to play. There is suddenly a second guy there sitting across the desk from me and I turn the page and I'm feeling the music, reading the notes, and I say "this <piece> has/requires a lot of dynamic energy!". The 2nd new guy turns the pages to find another place but the first guy says "don't lose my place!"

I'm walking outside and I see TZ coming out of a buiding, I ignore her at first, but then I realize that I have a folder for her back inside, I waffle between getting it or not, I decide I should just go and get it and give it to her now, saving a trip of driving to her house later. I (get it?) and follow her as she's gotten a bit ahead of me. There's a woman following her who I'm looking at and trying to decide if it's T's mother, PZ, she has sort of dreadlock-y hair, she turns and speaks to me it's not her, it's some other woman who says that PZ is (not here?).

up a long time, 4-5 hours, something weird in the atmosphere? Nobody can sleep in my house tonight

+ calling the conductor on a rotary telephone to see if they want me to play in the concert, I could do it but since I haven't been at any of the rehearsals I expect her to tell me "no." I have a small pamphlet with her phone number, I go to the phone and I dial a 9 on the rotary phone and immediately I'm connected to my cousin (KeR?) and she's telling me something. I'm confused by that and I hang up and try dialing again, I get KR again after the first digit of the number.

+(f) DO watching some golf tournament, they're teeing off from an outcropping on a very high cliff

+ (f) long-ish sequence going upstairs and downstairs, something to do with a fish?

+ running in to a house where there is a fire burning but I realized I had left all the windows closed, I get in to the house and there is some smoke but it's not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Returning to the entrance room my dad is there and he says something.
There is some conflict going on, something in the garden, we're fighting with someone else over a path of growing things, I look out the window down on the patch and see that the other party has pranked us by replacing the plants with something that looks like large hot dogs in buns with mustard on top? My dad says something about the inevitable escalation.

Returning from one area to the building there are a bunch of guys in "bank robber clown masks" and someone is warning me against of the guys in that gang, I was going to go with them but I think I should get a mask, too, but I'm concerned that they've already seen my face
