00:00 Friday 2014-09-05
YET ANOTHER broken night, wife was involved in a traffic accident (very minor) and so with all the paperwork, etc., she didn't get home until 2am, I was so tired I couldn't sleep for a while.
02:00? bed time
09:45? got up to bathroom before recall, bad move, forgot tons of dream time. Lucky to recover this much given the circumstances of the night:
Big pizza night:
+ arranging toppings on pizza: your favorite toppings go in the middle, you leave a space for them and put them there, pepperoni is especially good to put there.
+ In some sort of store my attention is focused on a box on the floor, packaged in cardboard, I know inside this package is a book about computer VLSI design which I want, I open the packaging and take out the book to look at it, also a large transparent plastic sealed bag of approved frozen pizza toppings (looks like sausage & pepperoni) also comes out of the package. Some pizza toppings don't work: you can tell this by trying to cook the pizza with that topping and looking to see if the whole pizza turns black.
+ I turn a corner to the right and enter a room, and see immediately that there are workmen redecorating the kitchen counters, I see that the counters are MUCH deeper than before and approve strongly of this change: they extend out a longer distance from the wall now. There will be even enough room for everyone to put down their pizzas on the counter at a big pizza party. The workmen are in the process of covering the counters with a spongy cover material, they're trying to tape it at the base of the wall and stretch it over the counter surfaces. I wonder if this will work because the underlying texture of the counters is not flat, it's a 3d raised texture pattern, the covering will probably not ever sit flat, and may bunch up and tear, the workmen are not able yet to get this covering to sit flat.
+ (no pizza!) I'm painting a small bicycle in a bathroom with shiny reflective silver paint. I want to cover the entire bicycle so it's one solid stainless steel/silver looking bike. I also paint the handlebar basket, and I'm about to paint a stainless steel cup that goes in the basket but I look at it closely and determine it's already entirely the correct colour. I put the cup into the basket which is now attached again to the handlebars. I think about how much paint I need: probably just one (molecule?) think is enough this is a strong paint. I take the bike down off of the edge of the tub and see below me on the floor that about a dozen small/medium splotches of silver paint have dropped down on to the peach-colored rug/carpet. I should have used a drop cloth. Some guy (JD from N?) says "that's why I always use the spare seat" and I see an image of an upside down bucket.
Oh so much more , lots of dreaming in there, just beyond reach of recall. Dang it, really had to go to the bathroom upon waking, should have held it and done recall before getting up.
