dream fragment

• The first dream consisted of me riding in a truck I have never seen, with some guy I have never met. I was smoking out of my bowl, and he shows me his identical bowl and points out how he has the same. Everything after that is too fuzzy. I can't believe I was not aware enough to trigger lucidity.
• The second dream happened after my usual WBTB at 6am. I met with an ex gf, didn't know how I got there. Me and ex start making out, have sex. Talk to her for the rest of dream. Also, pissed I did not trigger lucidity.

I feel triggering lucidity should have been easy in both dreams, both were unusual. I'm upset that in both cases I never thought to reality check, ect.

WBTB(6am): My Father and I are at some fancy party. I triggered lucidity the moment I realized I had no idea why I was there, or how I got there.

After I realized I was dreaming, it felt like the dream world was fighting back. My dad threw a blanket over me and it seemed like everyone was walking over me, keeping me pinned down. I tried so hard to get from under the blanket it woke me up.

Okay so this is the start of me officially writing down dreams. Since about October I have been trying my best to obtain lucidity.
This includes:

• WBTB: Pretty much every day since the start, although i'm sure there are more than a few days not doing one.

• Reality Checks / Daily awareness: All the common reality checks discussed on the forum. Also, I am constantly questioning reality throughout the day.

Anyways the dream:
Pretty fuzzy on the details. I do not recall any dreams throughout the night. Only the one after the WBTB at 5am. Walking through ODU campus, a random African American approaches me and makes fun of my hair. Also, I was wearing a jacket that I no longer wear.

I did not realize the whole time it was not a dream. Not until later that night at work.
