My subconscious

The first thing I remember happening in the dream was a battle occurring in a city. Police and military forces fought against a stance beast that looked like a mix between the cloverfield monster and war of the worlds aliens. The beast had on eye and the other eye was cyborg like. The military was airlifting people to clear the city for bombing. I joined the battle instead by an accidental airlift into a fighter helicopter. After trying to fight it, I went to a building (the city was now destroyed and looked like cities in book of Eli), and climbed to the top to see the beast. I stared it in the eyes and it didn't kill me, we just both stared sympathetically for some reason. The beast left me alone. I suddenly left to visit a mining cite near the city. There was a summer camp near a lake close to the mining cite. A train was on the top and I crossed a bridge to reach it. My girlfriend was on the train and I was disappointed to be left behind when the train left. I later took another train back and saw her when I reached a train stop, happy she was alive and not killed by the beast.
