First Lucid in a While

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID
I am on a cruise liner At one point, myself and another person decide to take one of the sail boats that are on board the ship and set off with it. The cruise liner has some sort of bumpy ramp at the rear that we use get it into the ocean. We make it off the larger boat, but I somehow fall off and wind up in the water. As I'm swimming back towards our sail boat, I notice that my friend is actually at the helm of the cruise liner, and sailing further and further away is the sail boat. While my friend is shouting that we'll never catch up to it and that we'll be stranded at sea, it occurs to me that the boats have switched and this triggers a lucid state. I decide to try the nose plug technique to confirm and as I do I plunge myself backwards into the water (out of habit I guess as I used to hold my nose before dunking my body underwater at pools). I also try looking at my hands which turn out to be very distorted and I am also weirdly unable to face my palms towards me. I hear my friend shouting that we'll be attacked by sharks, and as I look back at him I realise I must have corrected the dream's mistake and we once again have possession of the sail boat. Right about now I'm not really worrying about the sharks but I think I (for some reason) made one appear. At this stage, I begin waking up due to the outside noise. I tried not to stir but I was unable to stay in the dream.
Notes: was lying down on the couch for about half an hour, on my back, half-asleep and listening to this. Turned it off at about 12:30pm and drifted to sleep.
