As usual there is more to this dream, but I can only remember the tail end before I woke up.

It began with a false awakening, I remember there was a dream before then I woke up into this one.
In the first dream I barely remember a small puppy dog was in my bed. I loved this dog and he was playing in my bed with
me before I fell asleep and had the false awakening in the dream realm.

I am in a strange house, I briefly recall that my Dad and sister live in this house, the previous dream took place here, and I'm visiting them.
I feel really tired and keep falling back asleep. Finally, I force myself to get out of bed. I feel bad for sleeping
so late. I look around and notice its late afternoon, 5-6 based on the lighting. Nobody is in the house and I remember walking around thinking everyone left.

Later I'm at a grocery/convenience store with my mom and sister. I am standing in front of a freezer trying to pick some
ice cream. I decide on blue bell Almond bar, but they only come in packs of 4. I see a premium almond coated chocolate ice-cream bar for 1.99 and decide on that. I can remember some comment my sister made about me picking the most expensive one.

I walk to the line where my mom is standing and throw the ice cream bar down on the conveyor to be checked out.
As I'm standing in line with my mom, my sister walks into line with us. She walks past the guys behind us, 2 men dressed
in civil war army uniforms. My sister salutes one guy and makes some comment about him being a cop.

I correct her looking at the guy and saying "He's an officer, Army right?" I ask him. He responds yes, and tells me that
the uniform is real civil war era, he thinks. He tells me he doesn't know for sure, but his guess is civil war. I tell him
I agree, that I have seen army uniforms before and it definitely looks to be civil war era. I can't remember his rank for sure, but he was officer, captain or higher.

The dream ends here

I wish I could remember more, this dream was at least 3 times longer, but my dream recall still needs work. I'm glad I could remember this much. I just know that there was more before the false awakening/top dream layer.
