Fulltwists and a Camera-Person

There was more to this dream, but I can only remember the second half of it.
I'm at this Vietnamese gathering of some sort. I think it may be a ceremony, although it really isn't too formal. The floor is soft, like the plushy, blue mats you see in gymnastics. The area is lit up and the walls are a light orangish-beige. I remember hearing singers in the beginning part of it; at least, I believe I do, only I wasn't hearing them 'live'. Rather, it's like I was sifting through a mental catalogue, and I would unconsciously choose the artist / song that would be played. I found that this one particular ladies singing was really good, although the memory of this is fuzzy.
This was the first time where I've had a very vivid, clear dream daydream. I was daydreaming about an episode of a drama I have finished watching two or so weeks ago. It's like when you can remember the episode and the exact order of sequences that occurs. Think of that, and then imagine that you are actually fully immersed within' the episode, although it was still in that 3rd person perspective. As the episode was playing through my mind, I could hear the theme song playing vividly in my head.
Getting back to the whole ceremonial scene, a group of 10 or so kids including myself were forced to line up in two rows. For some reason these rows weren't adequate enough, so I was shifted more towards the front. I didn't recognize anyone that I was being lined up with.
After the 'ceremony' was finished, I decided to practice my standing full twists for some reason. I wasn't scared at all in the dream. It may have been the floor, but even then, I have trouble with a simple back tuck in waking life. I don't land the full twists, but they don't really feel as scary as I imagine them to be in waking life. This guy with a rather expensive looking, black camera comes by and greets me. I think this may have been my interpretation of a friend of a friend of mine, who had mentioned something about cameras before, although I have never met him in real life.
For some strange reason I decide to leave. As I'm walking outside, a person I know from real life passes me and asks if I'm coming with him. We're standing on this large, rectangular area of flooring. Where he is headed, I see a path that veers to the left into a hallway. Soft, dull brown rug covers the floor, and I sense that we are a few floors above ground level. I ignore him and continue to walk past him until I stumble upon a little shop. My dad and his friend are there. My dad notices that I'm wearing my old watch, and asks me why I'm not wearing the new one I've gotten recently. I told him the new one was in my shirt pocket because I was going to do 'something' and I didn't want it to break. The answer didn't seem to satisfy my father, and he and his friend both seemed suspicious of me. I expect. He asks me what "something" I could possibly be doing at this place. I don't reply.
As we head outside the shop, I tell to the camera guy that I'd gotten close to being caught. We're outside now. It's fairly sunny, and there is a pre-dominant beige amongst the building walls that surrounded us, and the buildings that loomed in the near distance past a cross walk. I ask Adam how much he knows about tricking. He states something like, "it doesn't look cool" and that he doesn't know much of it. I begin to explain to him what it is as we cross the street. My alarm rings, and I wake up.
