    Counting Sheep

    by , 05-06-2014 at 05:47 PM (702 Views)
    So I tried counting sheep.

They started flapping their flappy ears and flying into the sheep pen. Then, after counting about thirty, they started flying back out, and without even realizing it I was counting down. They were flying directly into a large rocket. I joined them and we flew in the rocket to the moon. Then they started moon jumping out of the rocket into a sheep pen. Except for one of them. I sat on his back and he started flapping his flappy ears and we flew off into space. I named him Lamborghini.

I did not, however, fall asleep.

What on earth.... yeah... that happens sometimes. I think you've just caught yourself "falling down." a.k.a. your logical systems shutting down. But you woke yourself up before you finished the fall... otherwise you would have fallen asleep... this is a good thing to notice while doing WILD, catching yourself right before the fall.

Even if you're not doing WILD, it's pretty interesting. If you just notice, you'll notice your brain takes over and comes up with the weirdest things in the process. : D

It was much more like a really deep daydream than falling asleep consciously.

I think my biggest problem with trying to fall asleep consciously is that the motion and feeling of breathing keeps me awake. When I try to completely relax and "let go", I often stop breathing, and then have to make up by breathing heavily.
