so I came across this site looking for information ,and I was wondering if you guys could help. when I was in about the third grade I found out the man who had been raising me wasn't my father. when I was 13 we got ahold of him and I started to get to know him. a couple years later we had a falling out and haven't spoken. Recently I had a dream that was super vivid. I was sitting on my grandmas porch and a man in an army suit came up to me and told me he was my brother and started talking to me about my father. I started crying and ranting to him and he started holding me and saying he was disappointed in the father he was to me. I woke up to my bedroom door slamming really hard, and I yelled because I thought I might have been my sister but when I turned the light on she was in her bed sleeping . I was telling my mother about my dream and she told me before my older sister was born my father lost a son. I did not know this , as far as I knew I had an older sister only. I described the man in my dream and my mom laughed and said my father was married to a woman who fit a lot of my descriptions. (the woman who lost the son) I was wondering if anyone could help me find any answers to what could be going on.
    -Thank you

hey call. sorry I didn't see your message earlier. from my point of view, I don't know if this story is true or not, but I'm going to give it the benefit of the doubt. since your looking for answers on a dream forum, I will assume your looking partly for metaphysical advise along with dream related info. my experience with seeing people in dreams extends to predicting weather or how certain events will play out. but unfortunately I have never had a dream quite like that. I wont dismiss that the emotions must be very high in relation to what's happened. well, the most I can say is that perhaps your subconscious is trying to help you work through the stress of events. apart from that, I think you may have some level of extra sensory perception. I don't know what you believe about spiritual stuff, but I would suggest you talk this over with a trusted friend that you know you can confide in. haha, but don't think your crazy. good luck in whatever you plan to do about the matter, but don't ignore you dreams; your subconscious may be telling you something. now that I think about it, I have had dreams that left me crying in the dream and caused me to wake up crying. that was a direct response to the situations around me. so, maybe you need to repair the relation ship with that father figure. I hope this helps a bit. much love.
