My First Lucid Dream (And DJ post)

Okay, I'm gonna colour code my stuff to let you know when I'm lucid or not:
    Dreaming
    Lucid Dreaming

I dream that I'm wondering around the test chambers from Aperture Science Laborties, when
all of a sudden I get kicked out of the test chambers and dragged into a Relaxtion Vault. I go to
sleep (in my dream), and wake up in a bed. I fall out of the bed, and can hear two robots arguing
about me. I stand up, and my best friend emerges out from another bed next to me, and starts
talking to me. Believe it or not, I actually start telling him about lucid dreaming, and what it is.
He shakes his head in amazement, and then suddenly we start eavesdropping on the robot people.
After we find out they don't say anything interesting, it suddenly snapped into me that what was
    happening;
I was dreaming! Which means I was lucid! But, for some weird reason, I told my best
friend that we're dreaming! He's about to say something, when he and the robot completly stop
what they are doing, seemingly waiting for me or my mind tell them what to say. I thought quickly
about reality checks, and I quickly look at my hands. I had, like, 7 fingers on one hand, and what's
weird is that my hands were like, all blurry, I can't really describe it. I almost went crazy. I yelled
"I'M LUCID DREAMING!" "OH MY GOD!" and it was a really suprising experience. That's when I
wake up...in the same dream, back in the bed, and then I completely lose control over myself, and
then my dream takes over from there.

Congratulations! next time I recommend staying calm and take everything in, feel the floor with your feet or pick up a small object and feel the texture, smell the air, see how real everything is, try to hear things, or maybe look for something to eat, try to use the five senses to stabilize the dream, that's the easiest way to extend the duration and stay lucid.

oh, and don't freak out, a rush of emotions often wakes you up, stay calm

      Again, Congratulations!
