    First Lucid?

    I dreamed that I have SP. It couldn't have possibly happened for real since WILD's are so difficult to do. So I have this SP and I see fuzzy patterns for a while and whoosh! I wake up. I realized that I must have failed the WILD, BUT it could be a false awakening. So I did a REALITY CHECK. And it failed! Could I change colors now?
    So I think to myself, "better not waste anytime." I look out the window of the small room and see unusual vividness. I fly out the window and the scene was in 3D. I mean more realistic than usual. But it didn't look like real life. I had very little control. It was like a mountain valley with lots of fog. And I saw purple and red colors in the background.

    I suspect that this maybe have been DEILD.

      Were you attempting a WILD? Did you feel any lapse in consciousness? it very well could have been a successful WILD. Regardless, congrats on your first lucid.

      I know the procedure for doing a WILD but I always fall asleep before transition. I think it was just a part of a dream. I wasn't trying to do a WILD. In fact before bed I wasn't even think about dreams at all. But it was a very realistic dream about doing a WILD. Maybe it was but I was too sleepy to tell if it was for real or not. But I do remember that I was trying to concentrate on the hypnogogic images. Thank you for the encouragement

      Sounds like it was a WILD WILDs are not always stepping into an entirely new dream scene. I know a great many people who start their WILDs from the couch/bed/room they were attempting the WILD in

      You mean I woke up in the same place? no i woke up in a random room beside a valley. I am still in disbelief though that i could wild without even trying. thank you for the encouragement.
