This dream is an old one so I can't recall the details in my life at that point, however it just really stuck with me. I'd like a bit of insight on what it might mean.

The dream was set in a space ship, where I was in charge of recording the teams trip and progress with a sort of hand held camcorder. As we approached a black hole everything suddenly warped into a twisted version of the ship. All the crew aside from me were killing and mutilate each other. Even one women started carving her unborn child out of her stomach. Hands came out of the toilets, blood dripping from the walls and all sorts of organic growth took over.

I was running around the camcorder in my hand as I was so scared that I fell between a survival mode and delusion. When I reached the navigation deck, there was a strange creature. Its body was like a bi-pedal, and two armed worm, slimy, with a mouth filled with razor sharp teeth, it walked in an odd jerky motion. It walked towards me, laughing. It was impressed that I had not subsumed to the insanity like the rest of the crew. It asked me why I would not become corrupt like the rest, and that it was a battle of wills before I broke.

I collapsed onto the floor while it kept on taunting me. Then all of a sudden everything went back to normal because another ship tugged us out. Just like that the crew and ship were alive and well. They had no memories of the events, while I had some lingering feeling something was wrong. That's when I looked at what I had filmed. The footage was still there from the hellish incident, and the memories came back in full.

That's when my body started to mutate into something monstrous. The crew freaked out seeing my appearance change into a non human form; that's when I lost it and killed the whole crew, save for the captain. I cursed and blamed him for what had happened that it was his fault for going near the black hole. He killed him self with a bullet to the head. The other ship borded, I regained some sense and didn't attack them. That's where things kinda got fuzzy.
