I am helping dad in the garden. I sneak away for a smoke. I think he knows. I put it out and pretend nothing happened. He says nothing. We have the dirt ready. We have railroad ties as build up. He finishes the rest with large stones and something that looks like a fireplace. I quit, thinking he is nuts. I watch as he finishes. we start filling in dirt. He asks what I think. I point to the fireplace thing with the fresh dirt in front of it. I tell him it looks like a grave site.
