The Nomad Chronicles

Raven and I come tumbling out of portals into the Biodome. We collapse on the grass in exhaustion. I feel someone carrying me. I am semiconscious.

Angels carry us through a wormhole to their temple. They take us to a special healing chamber. They place energy shields over us, then flood the shields with healing light.

I feel asleep, yet awake.

We awake hours later. They give us a tour of the temple. They use energy technology. They don't call it magic. Everything is amazingly deliberately beautiful. All the buildings and plants are arranged in a way that looks natural as if the building just grew out of the ground. They remind me of the buildings of the Protoss.

Every time I touch something, it charges me with energy. Wow.
