The Nomad Chronicles

I am a faun in a forest.

I am chasing a black butterfly. It leads me to a clearing. It lands on a stone throne, and morphs into a beautiful woman in a silvery blue dress.

I stand up tall, and morph into Pan.

I bow before valerian. She laughs melodically and says I am ancient as her, but her soul resides in one species for all time, unless its wiped out, whereas my soul jumps from body to body each lifetime. She commands me to stand.

I stand up, and she stands up and looks me in the eye. She takes my face in her hands, and kisses me.

The energy feels unlike any I have experienced before. It feel simultaneously totally alien, yet completely familiar, so human like, and so plant like, so ancient, so young... wise, yet almost innocent.

We fly into space and up on to my asteroid.
