The Nomad Chronicles

I fall out of a portal on to a horse, a fine young quarterhorse, sandy brown like the desert we are riding through. Raven is riding black mustang with red mane and fetlocks. MoSh is riding a large black horse, and there are others with us. We are running from demon possessed zombie wolves.
We face back, and take out a few with our guns. We ride to a cliff, and make an abrupt turn. The zombie wolves go sailing over a cliff. We ride up a mountain, there is still one chasing us. A well placed shot hitting a boulder above triggers an avalanche right on to the zombie wolf.
