I'm working with a couple of friends to move a bunch of old junk vehicles from a junkyard to a large field near my house. I ride to the yard with a friend, then we get into a couple of the old junkers and try to start them. I get into an old yellow Volvo and it fires right up. My friend gets into a blue Chevy Blazer and it fires up too. The Volvo was pretty beat up and had yellow painted plywood for wheel covers.
We start driving these junkers down the road toward the field. We bump into each other a couple of times, then try to drag race. Shortly into the race, the Volvo sputters out and quits running. We try to jump start it and push start it, but it's dead. I decide to abandon the Volvo along the side of the road and get into the Blazer with my friend.
We drive down a small gravel lane and find that it's blocked by a gate. There is a bypass around the gate, so we go around and drive down the lane. There are a couple of old houses and a bunch of junk laying along the road. After driving for a bit, we reach a huge pile of junk that's blocking the road. We get out and walk around, poking at the junk pile a bit.
As we're trying to figure out a way around the junk pile, a defensive dog approaches from the nearby house. The dog runs up and stops at the edge of the lane, barking fiercely at us. A guy in the distance yells at the dog and it turns around and walks away. The guy walks up and asks us, “Where are you going?” I reply, “We're trying to find a way around this pile of junk.” The guy says, “There is no way around the junk pile.”
We get back into the Blazer and prepare to drive off. This time, I decided it was my turn to drive, so we switched seats. I start it up, put it in gear and mash the pedal to the floor. The tires spin for a moment, then it starts picking up speed. I see a Jeep coming toward us, so I steer toward it, playing Chicken. The Jeep swerves away and hits the embankment, nearly rolling over. I continue to speed up and drive straight toward a step van. The van doesn't swerve, but just before hitting the van, I wake up.
