Lucid
The first part is a little odd, I don't remember it very well, it was a nap dream. I walk into a room, where Maggie and a man (not Hal) from Falling Skies are talking about the dreams they have of their soulmates. The man is certain that she is his, because they have dreams together, but Maggie informs him that she had a dream where her real soulmate told her that he was coming for her. That he didn't even bother packing an extra shirt. The man in her dreams is Hal, but she doesn't know his name yet. This announcement unsettles her suitor who isn't sure what to make of not actually being her soulmate.
"He said 'I'm coming for you'," When she says it she looks straight at me and it feels like a message. Then she turns her eyes back to the man, "Funny isn't it? If you were my dream man you wouldn't have to come to me, you'd already be here."
Then I am in my car with my boyfriend, he's in the front passenger seat and there is a brown haired woman in a white nightgown in the back seat. She is injured, her body separated from her soul (which looks identical to her physical body) and sits beside her in the back seat. I am driving down a country road and am not paying attention so that I don't brake soon enough and hit the front of a truck which is facing the wrong way, stopped on the side of the road. I can feel the driver glaring down at me. Under the pretense that I am just backing up, I start to turn the wheel to flee the scene. My boyfriend asks me what the hell I'm doing. Everything feels really odd, and just like most car wreck dreams, I start shaking my head.
"No no no...don't worry. I'm dreaming. Everything is fine."
"What do you mean?! Nothing is fine!"
"No really, I didn't really hit that truck because it isn't real. None of this is real."
"Are you crazy?"
I drive back the way we came. "Look around you for a second, look at those loping koala and tell me this isn't a dream." I gesture to the field beside us where a herd of giant koala are running on all fours. He stares at them in amazement but still refuses to believe me.
I stop the car on the side of the road, things start to get fuzzy. "Do you think I could do this if it wasn't a dream?"
He gets a little antsy because there's a man standing on the other side of the fence threatening us with a gun. I raise my hand (with no actual idea what is going to happen) and am surprised when bees spring into existence from the dirt and swarm around the gunman. He growls at us and shoots the woman in the backseat, a single bullet splits and hits her and her soul in the forehead. My boyfriend panics.
"Relax!" I say, I wave my hand and think 'resurrect' and she comes back to life. I make the gunman disappear, then I snap awake.
