    Black Water, Persian Rug Trip

    Not much to report tonight, I didn't end up getting very much sleep because I fell asleep late and woke up early, but not early enough to really have it be worth going back to bed. But, at least what I got was a little interesting.

    #1 - Black Water

    This one is sort of frustrating because I know there was a really long dream leading up to this point, but I can only remember the very end. :T I was in third-person and watching a girl get sucked into portals that started out dark but then became swirls of rainbow colors, and they were appearing all over the ground. As she was trying (and failing) to get away, the song "Black Water" by the Doobie Brothers was playing in the background.

    #2 - Persian Rug Trip

    I was tripping, on acid I think but I'm not sure, with my cousin P. My younger cousin K was also staying over, but she wasn't tripping. It was nighttime and she was asleep in the living room (I think?) while P and I were in my room, and then we went out to the back yard. I noticed while walking out there that I was wearing nothing except a Persian rug wrapped around me like a robe. o.o It looked kind of like this one, but with blue being the main color instead of red.



    I go back inside and see my dad concerned that there's someone out back, but then he realizes it's just me and P. I head back out and notice it's daytime now, and P has changed into some kind of white alien with three antennae. He fades away as I notice a cop car driving some kids down the alley way behind our fence. I head back inside and find P back to normal, and then suddenly become lucid. I didn't really go through a realization process or anything, I just knew. Then I was about to say something about it to P but he said that my cousin A was lost at a nearby mall and we need to go get her. I think oh, okay, everything up until this was a dream but this is real now, we better go get her. After that conversation I woke up.

    Not too crazy, but at least not dull.

      Lol, the first one gave me a wave of thrill. I'm really curious what was the beginning of the dream. And that "Black Water" in the end... I'll google the song, you tickled my curiosity.

      Ah, please, explain, what do you mean by 'acids', I'm quite ignorant about drugs and means of getting high, as you know. And you're the most safe source of information on these topics for me.

      Hehe, it's a pretty good song but it doesn't really fit the mood. But I know, I remember the beginning as being really interesting! Oh well. :T

      Acid is LSD, d-Lysergic acid diethylamide. It's usually the standard that psychedelics are measured against. Basically the hallucinations it creates are repetitive fractal patterns based on form constants (lattices, cobwebs, tunnels, spirals) that form fully 3D and realistic but very bizarre hallucinations of objects, animals, people, etc. at high doses. In my experience, the hallucinations are also very frequently sexual in nature. It also involves certain optical processing mechanisms failing to work, like not updating properly. For instance if you wave your hand in front of your face, you'll probably see a trail of neon and transparent copies of your hand following behind it for a few seconds. In high doses there's also a good amount of synesthesia, when your senses start to overlap.

      I know, I wish I remembered it! >.<

      Hehe, it's pretty wonderful. You can't get addicted to it. You can love and want to do it a lot, but psychedelics are basically anti-addiction. You can't even do it more than once every few days or it doesn't work due to rapid tolerance build-up, and for full effect again you need to wait at least a week. And there's no 's' on the end, just 'acid'.

      @May I ask a doc to prescribe me those pills?

      No problem. Unfortunately not, LSD is one of those drugs you actually have to be in the underground community to get, and even then you have to know what you're doing if you want the real thing and not something else passed off as acid. There are other good psychedelics that are potentially easier to get though that create the same kind of effects with just a slightly different style. I'm not saying you should just go out and pick mushrooms without knowing what you're doing, but have you ever done any research on psilocybin mushrooms?

      No, but I'll google it. And why can't I go to a psychiatre, for example, and ask him to prescribe me some pills? It's the easiest way to me. Only to scratch the itchy spot a little, lol!

      Wouldn't it be great if it were that easy? Let me know if you're interested more later because there are lots of other natural psychedelics as well that you could potentially get.
