I won't write all my dreams here, just interesting/lucid dreams.
For fun, I might track some things from my dreams here.

Personal goal attempts: 17 (Been trying to reach a planet I visited in a dream in 2013)

    Alien worlds visited:

    Spoiler for the list:

    1. Two scifi dreams

      Cauliflower Spaceship
I'm far away in space and in the far future. I'm on a massive spaceship that was damaged from the inside, by a battle I think, I can't recall. I'm explaining to the crew that a chemical reaction near the engines created oxygen that was leaking to the fuel line, making us go way faster than we should. We were way off course, doomed to be lost in space as our ship was damaged.

Suddenly our ship is destroyed. We have spacesuits on and float through space uncontrollably. I see an alien ship, it looks like a cauliflower. The front of it splits into 6 triangular pieces that open up to reveal a massive swirling portal inside the ship. We fall straight into the portal and find ourselves falling to an alien planet. Somehow we land safely. We are in an alien city that looks to be very advanced technologically. On the side of the road there's a booth that gives you a shower and new clothes instantly. I try it out and in a flash, my skin is dripping wet and I have a brand new suit on that's still warm like it was just ironed out. There's another smaller machine that creates coffee from some sort of recycling. It looks bad and smells like poop, which makes throw up before I even taste it. Dream ends.

      Memory-erasing hostile aliens
I'm with army friends next to a big lake that is unfamiliar. This location doesn't look like Finland. There is a mountain range behind us that the other soldiers turned to sand with some bizarre weapon. Then the dream gets confusing, because we encounter aliens that eat memories. I can only recall quick moments of action. We were driving in jeeps, most likely leaving the lake. Another moment there is a towering alien with no facial features, like a silhouette, standing in front of us. We start firing at it, but my memory cuts there. I recall the alien firing a green plasma orb.

Suddenly I'm standing on the road leading to my childhood home. The gaps in my memory terrify me. The aliens are using my worst fear against me. The streets are empty. I run to the house and turn on the TV. The news make no mention of the aliens. No one else can remember them, even though they could be everywhere. My brother is in the house and sees my worried look, asking what's going on. The fear wakes me up and persists even while awake. Takes a moment for me to realize that it's safe now.
    2. LD 112 - Shattering Galaxy

      by , 01-12-2019 at 07:36 AM (Letaali's Dream Journal)
I'm standing on the edge of a massive disc surrounded by a sea of stars. I look along the curve of the disc and see massive shards of the disc floating around slowly. The shards look like broken glass. I can see Saturn in one of the shards. I realize the disc I'm standing on is the Milky Way galaxy. It's breaking apart, which is alarming. My dad appears and we talk about this impending doom.

"We can't escape in time without help." I state.

He agrees, we have no means of safely travelling away from our galaxy. We would need help from a more advanced alien race. I fall on my back and the disc acts like a trampoline, softening my fall. I stare at all the stars and notice one of them flickering. It moves slowly and then suddenly falls close by with a loud boom. I get up and approach the object.

I become lucid, not sure what triggered it. The object that fell was a small four legged robot, reminding me of a dog. "X-12" was written with small pieces of tape on it's side. I assumed this robot was sent to help us off the disc. The robot dog started to hop in one direction slowly and I followed. I decided not to speed things up and just see where this would lead, but I was worried. I worried that I would wake up before anything meaningful happened, because the dog was so slow. I checked my body to focus more on the dream. I was completely naked and parts of my body were numb. My surroundings had changed a bit, the robot hopped past several beds with my family sleeping on them. The dream ended after a while of following the robot dog.

Mistakes were made. I need to stop this carefree "lets see what happens" attitude and start actively guiding the dream again. Still happy to have lucid dreams.

    3. Expedition to a freezing alien world + LD 106 - Lego Aliens

      by , 08-25-2018 at 09:13 PM (Letaali's Dream Journal)
Expedition to a freezing alien world

I'm on a massive spaceship. It's like a little moon, absolutely huge. We've made our way out of the Milky Way galaxy and reached a system we want to explore. We haven't encountered life yet, but the first planet we land on is extremely hostile.

We lose half of the crew instantly, systems are dying all around the ship. I pilot one shuttle and a crewmate pilots another. We have to fly to another part of the ship now that the systems are dead. Outside the ship there's a storm and the temperature is just some odd Kelvins, it's incredibly cold. I watch the wind slamming the other shuttle down to a liquid nitrogen "river" that the storm has created. I hear the pilots screams as the shuttle is quickly destroyed. I struggle to get to my destination too. Seems like this is the end.

Then the dream skips. I'm inside the ship again, with one of the last surviving crew members, a strong willed woman. We are in the medbay and she tells the computer to unlock the vampiric systems. I have no idea what that means. I notice a futuristic blood pressure monitor and test it out. When I activate it, the wrap cuff builds itself around my arm. My blood pressure and pulse are pretty high.

LD 106 - Lego Aliens Personal goal attempt #18
I'm a massive observer in space around Earth. I'm bigger than the planet. I see a space station in Earth's orbit and a portal opens far away. Aliens from another galaxy are invading. Instead of using weapons, the alien ships slam one by one into the station's shields. The shields hold, but the alien ship just make a big loop like a boomerang and hit it again. This repeats until the shields are destroyed and the station starts falling apart.

Awareness rises from my subconscious. It's like a whisper saying "You're dreaming" gently reached me. Lucidity changes the scene. I find myself in my childhood home, in the kitchen. The alien ships from before are floating in the kitchen. They look to be made from legos. I raise my hand towards them and try to pull them apart. One of my goals is to use dream powers without any unnecessary tricks. I can't do it. I sit down to meditate. I tell myself out loud "I'm a lucid dreamer" and try to remind myself of my role in the dream. My thoughts are not focused though. I get up and try destroy the ships again. They shrink down. Good enough for me. I crush one of the ships with my foot for good measure.

Alright, time for my personal goal. I first think I should go outside, but rethink and just go to the closest door. It's the door to my brother's old room. I close it and imagine the Frozen Planet being on the other side. I enter without looking, one bare foot first. I want to feel snow before I look. I do feel snow, but when I look, it's just the backyard covered in snow. I close the door and try again. I look behind me and focus for a second on all the details of the dream. Beautifully detailed. I see through the other windows that there's now snow outside. I step through the door again with one foot. I feel snow and look in, now it's a dark, unfamiliar room with broken windows and snow blowing in through ragged curtains. Since I don't recognize it, I believe this is it. This room is on the Frozen Planet! All I need to do is to go through the wall to see the planet. I wake up.

    4. LD 97 - Castle in Space

      by , 09-05-2017 at 04:40 AM (Letaali's Dream Journal)
I'm in the world of Dark Souls. I'm outside, but still within a vast castle. I hear a youtuber/streamer Northernlion talking with his friends about continuing a DS series by doing some long challenge. His friends want him to do it, but Northernlion believes it would kill his channel. I see Nick playing the game and killing a monster to begin a hidden challenge of some kind.

I'm in the castle's dining hall. It's massive. The floor is wood paneling and one end of the hall is raised. The raised part is made of stone and has a smaller table, which I assume to be for the royal family. I have tray and I'm looking for food. I suddenly become lucid and all DCs disappear from the scene. I want to go somewhere else and close my eyes in an attempt to teleport. Nothing happens immediately and I fear trying too hard will cause me to lose the dream so I stop. I want a door. Dream takes me to a door in the corner of the dining hall. I tell the dream there will be a faraway planet on the other side. I'm barefoot and feel a cold breeze from the door. I open it and see space and stars. As I step in, the dining hall's wood paneling appears as the floor and parts of the castle's stone wall follow it. The walls are incomplete and there is no ceiling. I still see deep space outside, the castle is floating in space. I walk through the eerily silent and empty castle. Everything feels very real and I tell myself this is why I want more lucid dreams. I really focus on the details of the wood floor and distant starlight shining through the cracks in the wall. I walk past the dining hall, into a short staircase and notice a room full of people. Someone is giving a speech to a large audience. I walk in and ask one lady for sexual favors. I'll leave the details out, but it was rather disappointing. At least I didn't wake up immediately. But the dream comes to an end eventually.

Getting closer to that 100th LD. This spontaneous lucid dream did spark my motivation. Was a cool setting.
    5. LD 89 - Saturn's Moon

      by , 02-04-2017 at 05:57 AM (Letaali's Dream Journal)
I'm on a road going through a snowy pine forest. The road is covered in frost. False memory claims that I'm on Saturn's moon. I doubt that. I feel further away and I can't see Saturn. I climb a hill and get off the road. There's a holy tree and two humanoid DCs there. The tree is white, big and has no leaves. Reminds me of Game of Thrones. Lucidity slowly creeps in. One of the DCs throws a special looking mortar and pestle in the air. It's their holy symbol and it can't touch the ground. The DC asks if I could help him. Maybe put the mortar and pestle in the orbit so it never falls. "Sure" I say and grab the items.

I jump up and fly to space without effort. I see the blue hue of the upper atmosphere and the darkness of space beyond it. I see the horizon starting to curve more and more as I rise. I try to guess what altitude is good for a stable orbit. "I'm probably a bit too high." I make my way down to a good level and start accelerating.

I reach my top speed pretty soon and I'm not happy with it. Underneath me I see a medieval countryside and spot the Norwegian Flag. Not the first thing I expected to see on an alien planet tbh. I relax my body and focus on more speed. I get a small boost and see a massive castle in the distance. It is so huge that I have to look up to see the top of the main towers. The walls disappear into the horizon. The whole thing is about one third of the planet's surface area.

My top speed is still too little. I extend my left arm in front of me and hold one finger up, stating "GEAR 1!" I raise another finger and state "GEAR 2!". I feel a significant speed boost. I'm getting closer to the castle wall. I keep counting up and accelerating, until I reach gear 9 and the castle walls block my path. I slow down and fly up. I appear to be at some kind of dam. I see three massive blue holograms on the wall next to the dam. Some sort of ads, it looks like. Alright. I think I'll fly back to the guy and say that it's not possible to put this item into orbit due to the castle. I wake up speeding up again.

YEAH! I had fun. Great to have a lucid dream like this, compared to the struggles I usually experience.
    6. Crash Landing in another Universe

      by , 01-01-2017 at 12:31 PM (Letaali's Dream Journal)
Happy 2017! So, I've just been focusing on getting lucid. After Caiocontieri talked about wanting space dreams on IRC, I decided to incubate some too.
      Autosuggestion worked nicely.

      1.1

      Crash Landing in another Universe
I am the commander of my own space station, just like I visualized before bed. The station is massive and capable of travelling from a universe to another.
We are orbiting a new planet with alien life. I want to be part of the first party to land on it. I take two crew members with me to a spaceship with three seats.
The ship looks like a bit like the one in Star Wars. The ship Luke flew when taking down the AT-AT. We get in and the ship is slowly being lifted out of the hangar.
We are on a ramp and we see space, the planet and part of the station in front of us. The locking mechanism is malfunctioning and our ship starts sliding down the ramp.
"Oh fuck!" I yell as I look at the part of our station we are falling towards. It's at least 1km until we hit the station and several kilometers below that is another level that we might hit.

We hit the station and start spinning out of control as we fall towards the planet. We are still picking up speed. This is going to hurt.
I try to calmly put on my seat belt, which is difficult thanks to the ship spinning. After I get the seat belt, all I can do is wait and hope for a miracle.
Maybe we land in an ocean or something.

The ship softly stops just before hitting the ground. A large red alien man with tentacles used telekinesis to stop our ship. We are in an alien city.
The atmosphere is denser and deep blue. It's also toxic to humans. We hold our breath. A lot of humanoid aliens rush to help us.
I try to communicate that we need air. My crewmate tries to draw this on a piece of paper in a way they could understand.
I also tell them that we came from another universe. I take a few breaths as a test. Breathing doesn't hurt, but I still believe it's toxic.
