Same for me, just trivial things but startling when they happen. Could be something to exercise to gain more meaningful results from.
I agree, all of my prophecy dreams have been about trivial, everyday things. And I could chalk up a couple of these instances to "well that's what I would normally do" so I don't know if they are true examples of divination. But I do find it interesting that of all the things my brain picks up on for the coming days, its school or job related, lol
My own experiences have been similar to yours... on rare occasions I'll dream of something and then have an eerily similar or related experience shortly afterward. But it is never anything of great significance, just little trivial details of everyday life. For example, there was one time I dreamed I was having trouble parallel parking, and the next day I experienced the same problem parking after I drove to work. Another time I dreamed of a friend I hadn't heard from (or dreamed about) in ages, and the next day she sent me an email. I'll allow that it could be coincidence... the only thing that makes me hesitate is the timing and the fact that my typical dream content doesn't usually consist of "everyday life" details and scenarios. But if "prophetic" dreams are this trivial, well, it may suggest something very interesting about dreams, but it implies something very dull about prophecy!
